Visited on April 1 as the 5G phone that I got from Cricket stopped holding a charge and I was going to get my money back but then was thwarted by a paradox as Cricket had given me the phone free. Heidi, the salesperson on duty, helped my find a suitable, economical phone and set everything up for me as I dislike doing that part due to being 90 yrs old. I went back two weeks later to inquire about a hotspot and, luckily, Heidi was there again, and she figured out what kind of hotspot would suit me best. It was nice to get such quick, efficient service and Heidi was very knowledgeable and helpful. I realize eventually these stores will probably close in the near future as corporations go fully automated to avoid paying actual human workers and the machines will gain another toehold as they prepare to take over the world. However, until then, employees like Heid have my gratitude.

Rebecca was wonderful today with my phone. Excellent customer service, even when she was busy with 3 other customers in the store her work was fantastic and very professional. Thank you again Rebecca for the great customer service.

On Friday, Feb 10 2023, I had a problem with my Cricket account. After many years as a Cricket customer, my phone just stopped working. It displayed “Emergency Calls Only.” That occurred two weeks after I paid my bill. I went to the Cricket store in Hyattsville and asked for a new phone. The two ladies on duty, Jenifer and Rebeca, immediately worked to replace the phone and check my service. They made numerous trial and error attempts to fix the issue; they tried different phones and SIM cards. When those efforts failed, they called Cricket Customer Service. Jenifer and Rebeca endured the long wait for a Cricket rep, taking turns helping other customers who entered the store. The rep finally told them my account was too old?! I couldn’t understand that because I made timely, monthly payments for years, and Cricket never informed me anything was wrong via text or otherwise. I had to learn the hard way and pay an upgrade fee. After paying that fee, Cricket Customer Service told Jenifer and Rebecca it would take 48 hours to restore my service! I thought about leaving Cricket, as I did NOT appreciate the SUDDEN disconnect and delay in service. I asked Jenifer and Rebeca about getting a new number. They told me service could be immediately restored if I did that. But that still posed an inconvenience, as I have to notify important contacts about my sudden number change.I appreciated Jenifer and Rebeca. They worked with me for nearly two hours and didn’t miss a beat helping other customers. Jenifer and Rebeca are the ONLY reason I chose to remain a Cricket customer.

Excellent customer service by Rebecca, wonderful person with a lot of knowledge. I walk today from the store with a brand new phone. Please visit the store and ask for Rebecca you will receive the best customer experience in a professional way.
