Be very careful with this shop, they are shameless, they change your oil but they leave the old filter, they don't change it and they tighten the filter so much so that you can't remove it. They are a bunch of abusive people. I don't know why the state of Maryland doesn't close them down.

These people know what they're doing, and if they don't, they'll let you know. They're the most honest mechanics that I know.

I’ve had several jobs done here such as brakes, A/C service, and other simple maintenance. I’m always treated with respect and kindness and they seem to be very honest. I’m always pleased with their service and they’re one of the few I trust with my car. Keep up the great work. I’m grateful.

I would only recommend this place if you're desperate. My father is extremely old school so he consistently takes our vehicles there. We have had to replace the alternator in three different cars because of leaks at least five times after getting a routine oil change from them. Also, the customer service is below average. Like someone said before they act as though they're fulfilling a favor and take a long time to get to your car.

I called ahead and asked if it was okay if I could tow my car one night and see if I could get my vehicles repairs that weren't known to anyone. I was taken care of in three days no less. The mechanics and their boss were very transparent about what issues the car was dealing with. It was in and out and they are very respectable Individuals. I've got close friends and family that service their vehicles here and they're even car inspection certificated!

I today I took my car to Adelphi Auto services, I knew something was wrong with it because of the way it was driving. I though it was wheel bearing. I asked them to test drive, the mechanic came back after 5 minutes he said nothing was wrong with the Car. I couldn't believe it. I was actually embarrassed for him because I said to myself if a mechanic cannot feel the way the car was driving and tell there was a problem, I feel for anyone who takes their car to that shop. I left there took the car to a shop in Rockville MD. They test drove it. Came back said it was the drive Shaft. The customer service was superb, beyond my expectations. They said I should have had an appointment but they will take me in. 2 hours later I was driving smooth again. As for Adelphi Auto services. I wish you the best But it will catch up with you. Mr. Adelphi if your mechanics don't know what they're doing they will destroy your Business and it will be yourself to blame.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Beware! In December 2021 I took a car for Maryland inspection at Adelphi Auto Service in Adelphi, Maryland. They failed the car for the left front axle shaft and the left rear shock. I purchased the part from Car Quest and took the car and the parts back to Adelphi Auto for them to replace them and reinspect the vehicle. Adelphi charged me to replace the parts and passed the car for inspection. The problem is that Adelphi didn't actually replace the axle or the shock. In January, I took the car to a mechanic to do an oil change. The mechanic informed me that I needed to replace the left front axle shaft because it was leaking. He showed me the part and also allowed me to take a video of it. I was shocked because I had just paid for Adelphi to replace the very same part. I went back to Adelphi and spoke to the manager and the technician, James. I was told that they would inspect the car again for a fee and that I couldn't be in the garage while they inspect it. I said they should inspect it for free because it was their work and I brought the car back to them within the warranty period stated on the repair order. I left when they refused to do the inspection without me paying. The axle shaft was $90, plus I paid Adelphi $75 to replace it. Now I will have to pay a different mechanic to replace it because it is leaking. Now, it should be noted that I was told by James that I had no power and he attempted keep the receipt that I let him read. In fact, I had to quickly snatch the re riot from his hand as he tried to run away with it. I now in the process of exploring a legal remedy.Service: General repairs & maintenance
