Honestly, can't fathom the naysayers. The staff here? Absolute gems. They've got this uncanny knack for making my day, every day. From the manager to maintenance give you a warm welcome and are always there to help you.

I am compelled to share my experience with utmost sincerity, as I have never felt the need to review an apartment until now. Regrettably, my encounter with the leasing agent, Brittany, was profoundly disappointing. Throughout the application process, her demeanor was not only unprofessional but also exasperatingly obnoxious. Despite numerous attempts to communicate, my calls were persistently ignored, necessitating an in-person visit to glean any information, all after having expended over $400 merely to apply. To exacerbate matters, Brittany insisted on listing my father as my landlord and obtained sensitive banking details from him, only to summarily reject my application, despite his income exceeding fourfold the rental rate. Such conduct borders on the unethical and reflects a concerning lack of professionalism. While the physical space itself holds promise, navigating the entry process proved to be a formidable challenge, marred by what appears to be a disconcerting pattern of deception. It pains me to acknowledge that my friend, who also resided here, is echoing my sentiments and eagerly seeking an exit due to the egregious management practices. In conclusion, I am relieved to have evaded what could have been a regrettable decision. My hope is that prospective tenants exercise caution and vigilance, lest they too fall prey to such disconcerting practices.I think Alterra should really look into Brittany Casey before allowing her to help anyone especially since she lied about more than half of the questions I asked her just to have another leasing agent answer my questions completely different. I hate to be writing such review but I hope this is approached appropriately by management.

Do not rent here. Please do not waste your money or time3350 at Alterra apartment management is horrible and unresponsive to emails. I recently moved out and was incorrectly charged for some damages. I have photo proof that the charge is inaccurate, and I have yet to receive a response after multiple emails. The building is not clean; the trash room is filthy. Roaches scatter the property and live in the drains of the units. The walls are paper thin to the point that you will hear your neighbor's every step. The package system is a nightmare, with multiple packages left in the lobby due to the lack of Amazon locker storage. Also, the garage doors to the parking lot were consistently broken. Please do not waste your money doing business with them!

Don't move here unless you want your packages stolen consistently and be brushed off when you report it to management. I've lived here for almost three years and the number of stolen packages I've lost is in the double digits by now. It is just February and I've already had two packages missing this year along. When these things are reported to management nothing is done and now my emails are not even answered. Delivery persons are allowed to leave bins of packages unattended in the lobby area in which people just come and pick up packages that are not theirs. By the time you come down, your things are already gone. Myself and other residents brought this to management attention at a recent event and was given excuses about how they are not responsible for packages. Why would people want to live in a place where they cannot get the things that they order online. This is insane.I'm going to continuously update this post going forward with the number of packages that are stolen from me here:2/1/24: 2 packages

While I want to leave a good review I truly can not. Juwan in the leasing office staff is great. However, it seems if I ask anyone else a question they are not able to answer it. HOWEVER, that is not by far biggest issue. This building is INFESTED WITH ROACHES. I have not even been here two full months and have seen multiple roaches. As much as I pay in rent this is not acceptable. I DO NOT RECCOMENED to be paying over 2k to be living with roaches. This is the most disturbing thing ever.

This has been the absolute worst move in experience ever!!! They literally put me in a unit that was never cleaned, painted, sanitized or nothing!!! There were spider webs in each of the corners of the apt. There was a shoe print I believe on the ceiling from the previous owner. Over the kitchen counter on the wall there was food stain splattered. The closet had stains from previous user, tape marks and oil stains. The bathroom door had finger prints and even look like blood stains. The stove super disgusting never been cleaned! The kitchen sink has mold all around the rim! The dishwasher extremely hard to open and then when you open it, it has the absolute worst smell ever lingering from it! Cabinets with food crumbs in them. My first night moving in roaches came from the den. The second night a roach in the kitchen sink nights later roaches in she bathroom. And then today I get up to use the bathroom and there is a roach crawling on my air bed! I have not once cooked in the apt I have not been able to feel comfortable enough to do so! It’s going on 2 months of my move in! They wouldn’t assist me with any of my concerns because no in the office could make a decision to do anything until the Property manager Amira Carney got back from vacation, which was like 2weeks. Then the expectant date she was at another property! I moved in on Nov 18, 2023 and they are now finally deciding to do something. I was under the assumption that my entire apartment would be painted. The painters kicked me and said they would, only to come back home super frustrated that the apartment had not been painted adequately! They did a quick spot paint over a couple things that I pointed out. There were still things that I took pictures of in my phone with dates that had not been addressed. No one in the leasing office cares! Absolutely none! They are getting paid for a job they care less about! They keep using words like repaint or there aren’t any active activity of the roaches when I have sent plenty videos and pictures! I’ve sent plenty emails and even tried reaching out to the regional manager Denise Rogers and she has not responded to me instead she has the rudest unpleasant assistant manager Deja Helslop send me an email. The property manager Amira Carney has not made an attempt to meet me or address my issues. I’ve asked for a walk through and I’ve asked for a meeting to go over my issues and she has made no attempt. The office phones keeps going out so you can’t call them in the office. The elevator keep breaking. Only one garage door works! This is not a luxury feel at all! My packages has gotten stolen! I have not been in this unit a full 2 months yet! My list goes on and on about the problems here at Alterra! And my clients that have referred me all say it didn’t use to be like this! I’ve signed a 15 month lease and am very disappointed that I did! These roaches are very much of an annoyance and it very saddening and devastating!

I have lived in 3350 for close to seven months. My experience has been a complicated one. I have spoken with many of my neighbors and I hear what they experienced and I can say it was not the case for me. I moved into a very clean unit. There were a few minor issues but nothing major. I can say I don't have the pest problem in my unit, but I do see pest in the trash rooms.Maintenance has been very responsive to any of my maintenance requests. That responsiveness makes it hard to understand why it takes so long to get garage doors fixed, elevator fab system fixed, rental office phone system fixed, or other major repairs completed in the buildingThe big issue, in my opinion ,arethe residents. You have residents who will drop food and trash in the hallways, allow their pets to use the bathroom in the elevators, and they will not clean it up. They will not take their trash to the trash rooms, but throw it outside of the loading dock door. You walk into the building from the parking garage and you smell trash. It also does not seem management is holding residents that do these things accountable.Be aware once you move in, you will be forced to stay your entire lease no matter how dissatisfied you are. If you want to terminate they will require you to pay a termination fee while looking you in your face agreeing with you about the issues. That fee for me was two months of my rent.

Today, I received help from Shawnice. When I say "help", I really mean "She dedicated an hour of her shift to get what I needed to get done, done". I've been a resident here for over a year and I recently happily renewed my lease. To be honest, I love the place. I get what people are saying in the reviews about roaches, packages, trash, etc. but there is literally no such thing as a perfect apartment complex (I personally haven't had roach problems either). They work really hard in the leasing office so I can't complain. Now, today was my first day meeting Shawnice. I had an issue with a package that was supposed to be delivered. She spent so much time calling Amazon, speaking with her co-workers, and even trying to get the delivery man to helps us out. That was ALOT because he was mad rude and uncooperative but she remained professional throughout. Anywhos, my issue was resolved. That's what matters to me. Moral of the story is, I had a problem, Shawnice went above and beyond for over an HOUR to help, and the problem was resolved. I mean, come on now. Lol. Managing packages is not even in her job description, yet she really values the residents in this building and that made me feel good. Thank you Shawnice. Thank you to the whole Alterra team, too.

I’m a near future resident but just HAD to leave a review singing Shawnice’s praises. I toured an apartment with my two daughters and she was extremely patient with my children while maintaining her professional demeanor and she’s so knowledgeable. She made us feel at home in a home that wasn’t even our home yet! Lol the world needs more people like you. I’d also like to thank JuWan for clearly answering all 300 of my questions lol as I like to ask questions until I have 0 concerns left. Thus far, this process has been seamless. I appreciate you all.

I moved into 3350 at Alterra about 1 month ago and I must say that my experience has been nothing short of excellence. For starters my initial encounter was with Ms. Deja who had called me to inform me that I was approved for my apartment. She was very pleasant over the phone and answered all my questions. She informed me that my new leasing consultant was going to be a Mr.Juwan Reese. Now Mr. Reese has been a sweetheart with everything and very helpful and professional. This young man answered all my calls, emails etc. I know I called a million times with changes and updates, questions and he was always available.I must say that I am very pleased with the customer service I have received from both parties (Juwan & Deja). I look forward to living here.

Find somewhere else to go. Anywhere else. This community has changed over time and not for the better. The rent increases each year. In addition to your base rent and parking costs, you'll pay an additional $30 per month for a trash service whether you use it or not. A trash service was implemented this year. Residents were issued dollar store trash cans and told to protect them as if they were an appliance attached to the unit, and then also told that they'd be charged for the trash can upon move out if anything were to happen to it. You'll fumigate your apartment regularly to combat roaches that run rapidly throughout the building, and I'm not sure who thought it would be a good idea to feed them by leaving garbage near our front doors in the hallway disguised as a trash service to cater to lazy tenants who can locate the trash room, but not the trash tube. If you move here, you'll need to always look down each time you open your door, to stop roaches that roam the hallways from hurrying into your unit. You'll also pay an additional $5 per month whether you agree with it or not for the use of the mailbox lockers, an item that used to be complimentary to the residents considering the rent. You may see a pool table in the photos online, don't get excited because they removed that almost two years ago. Each year residents have access to fewer amenities, but the costs continue to increase. On occasion, homeless people find their way into the complex and sleep in the stairwells and main lobby. Despite the perceived controlled access, I recently reported a woman sleeping on the carpet right outside of my apartment door which startled me. The pool is about 4 feet deep and it's very small. If you can find a space to sit in the water amongst the crowds of people and children and avoid the residents who like to be on their worst behavior, you're lucky. There is no communal or private outdoor space, no balconies, and no quad area. There are benches at the bus stop on the exterior of the building if you'd like to sit outside and get fresh air, but you won't want to stay long. If you move here, you'll want to avoid getting on the bad side of any of the maintenance staff. The majority of them are very kind and knowledgeable. But - I've had one member retaliate by refusing to complete the work order in the past, and this same individual damaged my personal property during a supposed inspection. The inspection was advertised as a necessary task to ensure the whole unit was up to par, but in reality, included him looking inside one kitchen cabinet, breaking one of my glasses, and then leaving. It was an accident, but it was an accident that was avoidable if he had handled my property with care. My apartment is very neat, and these same items never move because they are stored properly. If you have an emergency request that the after-hours maintenance person should respond to, you may not get a response. My last one was ignored despite leaving multiple messages. A couple of the leasing agents are very sincere, kind & helpful, but unfortunately, their good sentiment does not extend to the property manager who has zero connection or rapport with the residents; she comes across as disingenuous. If you have no other place to go, 3350 @ Alterra will work in the meantime, but if you can avoid it, you should. Believe the reviewers, this place is ranked below 3 stars for a reason. The people have spoken.UPDATE 11-16-2023 REPLYTO THE OWNERBusinesses often seem to ignore complaints that have been directly communicated to them. However, as soon as those complaints become public through online reviews, suddenly they respond as if they hadn't been neglecting the concerns all along. Generic and canned language replies do not provide any real assistance. I urge to address resident concerns promptly and proactively, before they escalate to a public platform. By addressing issues and implementing preventative maintenance practices, you can make a significant difference in obtain

You will regret choosing this place.1. They have no regard for mailing services. YOUR PACKAGES ARE NOT SAFE. This apt charges a fee to handle packages which they fail to. 99% of the time packages are left on the floors and counters of the lobby and are unsupervised. Packages are left damaged and stolen. They leasing office refuse to handle residents packages like it is below them.2. ROACHES ROACHES ROCHES. That's all I have to say on this matter, no amount of treatment sessions will save you.3. Amenities, elevators and garage doors stay broken.4. Some of staff are nice, but simply fail to live up to the expectations. You can have a meeting at the office with an expected follow up, but nothing until you reach back out.5. This building is meant to be controlled access, but more times than not, people trespass and find their way in, even when there a so called security guard sitting at the front desk. The management needs to take accountability and fix this issue, this property is advertised as a luxury building but there's no luxury experience within the walls. There is a sister building next door they can mirror and learn form to start giving residents a better experience, for starters A CONCERIEGE. PACKAGES SHOULD NOT BE LEFT UNATTENDED ON THE FLOOR.THIS IS UNNACCEPTABLE.

The most sketchy management team I’m ever experienced. Building full of roaches, so be prepared to kill 2-3 a day. They try any and every way to get over on you to try to make you pay extra money. Went to court with them and they still refused to take my name out of the system, trying to let a balance give me a judgement, even though it was already settled in court.

I lived there for three years. The location is great, and everything is near to you. However, the building has too many people, so you can not eliminate noise.
