It’s never a good feeling to drop off your vehicle for body work, but I enjoyed a great experience at Chesapeake Collision. The manager and staff were very professional, friendly, patient and attentive.

First time using this repair shop. They were friendly and professional. They kept you informed so you didn’t have to call them for updates. Repairs were done in a timely manner and vehicle was clean upon pickup.

I will have to give 3 stars for the reasons stated below:
Honestly, the repairs that were made to my Ford Escape look fantastic. No problems there.
However, there was a lacking in the communication department. Being told I would receive update calls on a certain day and then not receive them, consequently having me reach out, was very disappointing. In any other circumstance this might be okay, but when you have possession of someone's vehicle (in my case my only vehicle), there should be a little bit more follow-through and straightforwardness.

They did a quality job for a reasonable price and within 3 days. They handled all of the insurance paperwork. Throughout the communication was clear and helpful.

Did a great job at a very fair price. Everyone was easy to work with and extremely friendly. Car was finished on time as promised and cleaned and ready to go. 100% would recommend them for anything in the future.

Do not trust this place. All communication I received was in the form of a text until I got upset and called them. The repair completion date was moved 4 times, and I understand there are delays, no problem. But when I expressed concerns about my rental coverage expiring, I was assured it would be extended, and nothing else was needed on my part. So when I got a text this morning 7/3 saying there is another week long delay and it won't be ready until 7/9, we called the insurance company. The adjuster says things aren't adding up. The info we are being told from the body shop doesn't match whats in their system, and to my surprise, our rental coverage was canceled on 6/29 . Now, we are getting stuck with a $950 rental bill. To make matters worse, I still don't have a vehicle or any answers to why I was given inaccurate information. So much for customer service and support in a time of need.
