I applied for a job here almost 2weeks ago to help in the pharmacy. And do the training for a pharmacy technician through CVS. The pharmacy manager Sharon hired me right on the spot, and then introduced me to the store manager Trish. I was told to wait for an email to accept the job offer. A week went by, never heard or received a email from anyone or CVS. So I called and spoke with Trish. She said she would have to call the help desk and see why I haven't received an email to accept the job. Waited 2 more days and called her again. Still never received the email. She said she would call the help desk and call me back by 6:30pm. Never heard from her. I even asked her did they decide to go with someone else? She said no. Almost 2weeks and no email or call back. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME APPLYING FOR A JOB HERE. THEY PLAY TOO MANY GAMES. AND GIVE YOU THE RUN AROUND AND LIE TO YOU.

Libby is great! She went above and beyond to help me get my heart medication.Back story: I had gone to a different location and they said my prescription would be $600 until I got prior authorization by my secondary insurance who is not open to help on the weekends (they have had my prescription 3 days so I’m not sure why they waited so long to send the authorization to my doctor) so their solution was spend $65 to get a few pills (they were also very rude). I called the Hollywood location and Libby answered, she called the other location for me, got everything sent to the Hollywood location and went out of her way to sign me up for a card that made my prescription only $10 WITHOUT prior authorization. Libby deserves a raise!

I couldn’t get assistance to fill my prescription in reasonable amount of time yesterday, so I came back today. 3 customers (all waiting at the pharmacy) in the store, 3 employees (at least, maybe more in the back) in the store….. NO ONE getting any help! I stopped at the front counter and the clerk said she was a “tech” and could take my information to get my prescription started. I pointed out to her that I wasn’t the next customer in line, AND if she was a “tech” and able to assist in the pharmacy, why had she walked by us in line multiple times without offering anyone any assistance. The clerk/tech also said the third employee was a district manager. Again, the employee/district manager walked past all of us in line too. It didn’t occur to her to offer some assistance?? Or tell the clerk/tech to get us assistance??This “small town” pharmacy has all the negatives of a small town pharmacy and none of the positives. …their front door is currently boarded and patched from a truck ramming it stealing an ATM, someone attempted to kidnap a random young woman from the parking lot last year! All this in a small town, yet no small town customer service!

This is the absolute worst. Waiting in line for 15 minutes only to be told they don't have my prescriptions. Dr. Called them in 3 days prior. Not the first time this happened. Dr had to call them in AGAIN. Not only that but the place reeks of mothballs. Seriously. I'm switching to Walgreens as I'm sitting here

Almost every single time I come here my prescription is not ready, even if I come hours to a day after it was supposed to be ready. In addition, there are times people are in line for 15+ minutes without being helped or blatantly ignored.

This pharmacy is without a doubt the worst. Today was the last straw for me. I have taken my prescriptions elsewhere for filling. Todays episode evolved around my doctor electronically submitting a prescription fir me early last Friday morning. Later that Dayi received a message from CVS that my prescription would be ready by the next day at 2:30 pm. Around 3:30 pm on Saturday, I checked the app to see if the prescription was ready and it showed it was still being processed. Again, checking on Sunday revealed the same status. This morning I visited the pharmacy to get a status. After waiting in line over 25 minutes, I was told my prescription wasn't filled because they were extremely busy but they could fill it in the next 5 minutes. Needless to say, this response infuriated me and I told the employee to forget it and not to fill it and that I was going elsewhere to get it filled. This is only one instance that I've encountered with this pharmacy. I've had several but I won't have anymore. If I could rate them Zero stars I would.

Not sure what is going on with the Pharmacy = slow, rude, not filling prescriptions, no text messages (even though its enabled in my profile), asked to return later for a prescription = come back 4 days later and still don't have it filled. Have a prescription sent from my doctor come in the next day, they say they never got it, talk to my doctor and they show it was sent, check my online profile, shows they did get it and its on hold with no reason why. Going to change Pharmacy's this one doesn't seem to need my business.

I called last week to refill my prescription. I went to pick it up 2 days later, thinking that was plenty of time for it to have been filled, after waiting in line for 17 minutes, I was told it wasn't ready. I went back in today, a week later and it still wasn't ready. I told SHARON the Pharmacist to please transfer it to Harris Teeter, she didn't do it. I ended up calling my doctor for the prescription to be called into Harris Teeter. The Pharmacist was rude and dismissive. I have connected CVS corporate to file a complaint, not that they will do anything about it beccause they have had horrible service for awhile now. Do NOT go to this CVS!

i would not even give 1 star if I had a choice. i have been waiting on se prescriptions for 2 weeks. i called last week and was told all 6 would be ready after 12pm on Friday. i would be alerted when ready. i still have yet to receive that alert. i called This Thursday. it said I had now 8 prescriptions "in process" same thing it said last week. it also said they would once again be ready after 12 pm on Friday and i would be let know when ready for pick up. same story. i am calling upon opening in the morning to see why all my prescriptions have been in process for 2 weeks now. this is not okay and I will be changing pharmacies. i have waited 45 -1 hour for a pharmacy person to answer and it never happened or it disconnected. i cannot get through on the phone. I'll try again in the morning however. i am at a point where I NEED these medications. i can't go these lengths of time they are making me wait. this is not good for those relying on their medications to be refilled on time. for many medications it is not even safe to suddenly stop but look what this pharmacy is forcing ppl to do.

I have to give this store a low rating. Their customer service was bad. I waited almost two hours for them to fill a prescription that I dropped off the day before. They gave me a hard time while I waited. They wouldn't tell me their names (I wonder why). At one point, they called me a liar in front of 10 other customers. I have to give them a low rating.

This is a terrible pharmacy. I’m a Physician who was calling in a prescription for a patient. I was initially on hold for 10 mins and was hung up on and I was again on hold for another 35 mins and nobody would answer the phone. I was calling in a Rx for a patient and almost gave up. I finally got through after waiting for 45 mins. SHARON the pharmacist was very rude, I cannot imagine how frustrating it must be for patients when even a Dr can’t get through to the pharmacy to call in a prescription for his/her patients.

The store section is great, we are always getting a ton of coupons for free and discounted items- but the pharmacy…It feels like something goes wrong every time a prescription needs to be picked up (which is often). It’s either not ready and won’t be for at-least a few more hours or they try saying the insurance doesn’t work and it’s going to be 100s of dollars. Not sure why this happens every time and I always have to come back later for the problem to be fixed. Very annoying to have to deal with.

BLUF: Pharmacist punches boxes and yells at customer. Refuses to provide information when questioned. Closes pharmacy early. The pharmacist flat out refused to give me my medication because of an authorizations issue with insurance. No problem? I'll just pay out-of-pocket. She again refused and said to take it up with my physician stating that they can't take payment out-of-pocket for medication. When I asked "What do uninsured Americans do when they are issued a prescription? How do they utilize this facility?" She absolutely lost her mind.At this point, I began recording the interaction as she was punching boxes now and verbally combative. When I asked for her name and license number, she refused to give that to me and it only sent her further into a tailspin. I don't know the woman's name (as she refused to give it to me and then shut the pharmacy down early) but she was an older, 50s-ish African American woman. The Pharmacy Technician was as calm as could be and very polite throughout the entire interaction, making me think this isn't the first time she's had to sit through one of these meltdowns by the pharmacist. This woman had clearly had a long day, but that was no excuse to behave in the manner that she did. The store is absolutely able to accept payments, this woman just didn't want to go through that process at the end of a shift and instead chose to react the way she did. She exclaimed "I'm not dealing with this today. I'm not doing it." Literally yelling at me as I was trying to explain myself and the desire to just pay for the medication. This whole interaction was filmed (I disclosed that I was filming to the pharmacist and technician with an "I don't Care" response given by the pharmacist.) and will be submitted to CVS Corporate. Luckily, the CCTV from the store should also show the pharmacist yelling and punching items behind the register to further support my complaint. Hopefully this incident will serve as a training aid for future pharmacists and employees on what can happen if you let your own bad day boil over into customer interactions. Unbelievable.Edit: 12/22/22 (The following day from the original review/incident)I was contacted by a different pharmacist at the same location. I was able to pay for my prescriptions out-of-pocket and did so with no trouble at all. I'm not sure what provoked the original pharmacist to aggressively deny me the ability to do that, but clearly it was possible and within the scope of the location's services. Thanks to the on-duty pharmacist of 12/22/22 for making this right!
