I reached out to the salvation army in this desperate time of need, and without hesitation the woman that assisted me was a god sent. This was a very crucial situation I found myself in and just to know that there are still a lot of good hearted people out there that is willing to lend a helping hand is truly a blessing, it sure does make you view the world in such a different way. My family and I wouldn't be where we are if it wasn't for the angels of salvation army.

All money collected in the kettles at Christmas STAYS where it us collected. Food, rent, electricity, clothes, furniture... all help given to those in need without pushing religion on you. The Salvation Army demonstrates the Lord's love day to day.
