As an older bride, I wanted a venue with a cocktail party feel. La Banque's Seaplane Base offered the perfect vibe with it's gorgeous water views and casual atmosphere. There is a bar area with high top tables, umbrella tables, and a deck overlooking the Susquehanna river for guests to enjoy. The large tent offers shade for dining, and also takes the stress out of planning an outdoor wedding--there's a backup plan for the occasional rain storm. Kim was extremely helpful in the planning. If you have a dilemma, Kim has the answer. It's a bonus that the venue is situated in the middle of beautiful downtown Havre de Grace. It was a fantastic day, everything was perfect, and I wish I could do it all over again!

This venue has so much charm! Our wedding guests absolutely loved it. It was perfect for our party of 56. Kim is amazing to work with and kept in touch to make sure we were on track with our plans. She also made very good vendor recommendations. I highly recommend La Banque!

If I could give 12 stars out of 5 I would, the owner was so incredibly accommodating. Very clean and tidy. We took beautiful family photos in the historic building in downtown Havre de Grace. I will update my review when I receive the sneak peaks! Definitely the place to book your events/weddings. We will keep them in mind for the future as well as spreading the word of how kind and considerate the owner Kim was to my family and I!

We had our Traditional Nepali- Hindu wedding in this beautiful waterfront venue and we loved it!! Kim was super helpful and arranged everything to our need. She co-ordinated with our Decor-team to make sure everything looks perfect.Bride could come early to get ready at her Bridal Suite and the Groom side of the family got the Old-bank venue for Baraat.The whole experience was wholesome.They were also very welcoming to new vendors (since we could only serve Nepali food) and everyone was so professional, accommodating, easy to work with, and great at their jobsThey even made an exception and let us stay overtime since our rituals were taking longer than we anticipated.Thank you, LaBanque de Fleuve, our wedding was perfect! :)

Had to cross post my review because we had such a positive experience. Kim helped coordinate beautiful family photos for our entire family! Very reasonable pricing, extremely clean and tidy, we had a great time and were able to get all of our photos done. I will post the sneak peaks we receive. Thank you so much!!!

Working with Kim is like working with your best friend, one who is honest, caring, professional and truly wants to make you feel special on your day! Kim and her team are truly the most friendly people I have met and will calm your nerves on such an exciting but can be stressful process. La banque sea plane base is truly a hidden gem in harford county! My dream was to get married by the water and the venue overlooking the point is perfect! Most of our vendors were also in Havre de Grace which made working with one another that much easier. Kim will make sure you have the day of your dreams. I encourage anyone if you are looking to get married in harford county to check out La banque de fleuve, you also have two venues to choose from. They will go over in depth the benefits of both and to see which works for you and your event! I can’t rave enough about Kim and her team and how they made me and my wife feel on cloud 9!

La Banque De Fleuve is one of our favorite venues to decorate. We love all the options they provide for special events. They have both a historic atmosphere with their inside venue . The mahogany, the vaulted ceilings , gorgeous rod iron and more provides beautiful historic character for their clients and for your floral artist. Their outside venue provides fabulous water views of the Susquehanna river, a beautiful tented area and spacious patio for the client that prefers a more natural serene setting. Plus, Kim is great to work with . She is very accommodating to her clients and other vendors. If you are looking for a unique event space La Banque De Fleuve is a must, You wont be disappointed!

We just got married at the seaplane base 3 weeks ago, and we loved it! The background to the ceremony was incredible, and the sunset later in the reception was even more beautiful! Our guests are still complimenting the perfect pictures and views! Everything went very smooth, and the venue staff helped handle a lot of logistics. Their experience was much appreciated before the big day especially, since La Banque gave us a lot of very useful advice about different vendors such as DJs, florists, photographers, caterers, hotels, shuttles, etc. They made a detailed contingency plan with us in case of rain, and when it ended up clearing up before the ceremony, Kim was even outside with a leafblower to get all the water off the patio. Their dedication definitely did not go unnoticed.

We got married at La Banque de Fleuve (Sea Plane Base) in May 2023 and had the best experience! The venue is huge and absolutely beautiful. All of our guests were so complimentary of it. Kim is the best to work with - she is super knowledgeable and helpful with every step of the process. We also just attended our friends' wedding here and everything was perfect. Would absolutely recommend La Banque!

On August 29, 2023, the Community Projects of Havre de Grace held its 25th Anniversary Celebration Dinner at La Banque de Fleuve at its waterfront venue. Throughout the preparation for the event, generously partnered with La Banque, Kim Barth met with us, talked with us, assured us that everything, even the weather, would come together. And it did. Her ability to problem solve made the planning of the event a pleasure. The evening was lovely - no rain and perfect late summer temperatures. If it had rained, the tent would have accommodated us. The space is startlingly beautiful in itself with facilities to match. The view across the Susquehanna is stunning. My challenge now is to come up with another event that could be held at La Banque.
