Had a reservation for Zippy Shell to arrive from 8 AM to noon with movers to load. They were a no-show and no call. That day we made 12 calls to Zippy Shell to find out what happened and what was going to be done. About 4 o’clock the representative said she would find out and call us before she left work at 8 PM. However, she never called back. Next day I received an email saying that we had been rescheduled for four days later. No one ever contacted us personally and that day was not acceptable. So I called that day and was put through to a manager. We canceled our reservation and were given a refund. Of course, it created many complications when you’re expecting someone and needing to get moved for a new job

This is a nightmare company. On April 30th, 2021 I signed a "move agreement with Zippy Shell for a move from Denver to Maryland.. I initially reserved a pod for delivery on 06/12/21, then changed the delivery date on May 3rd to 06/17/21, which they acknowledged on 05/10/21.

I scheduled a move using this company for my military move out of state. They sent an EMAIL not a call the same day stating that they have to cancel my move!! I reminded them that I was scheduled to move out of state the next day and would have to cancel flights for my entire family. They stated there was nothing they could do and would have to reschedule me. They had already charged me over $6k for this move and offered me a $100 off for the inconvenience! $100???? Even after telling them I would have to cancel flights and also be fined a fee for moving out late. The manager Nathan could care less about this situation. Just stated there was nothing he could do. He was cold and honestly did not give a damn! I'm still in shock that this happened. And was left desperate with no other options to move on time. How did they not know before the moment they were supposed to be on their way that there was a scheduling issue? Are they not reviewing their schedules? How was the scheduler able to do this? I spoke with the schedule and she stated it showed as available. Also the manager did not want to give me his name. Told me there was no one else to speak to about it. TERRIBLE SERVICE! And will be making sure the military knows not to use this company again!

I used this company two years ago for storage and they were great so naturally I thought to use them again. I think they have different managers now. Booking was difficult. I called several times and sent an email request. Heather returned my phone call only once after numerous attempts and has only answered her line once when I had questions. They did not deliver the initial shell within their window. We ordered a second shell which they got to us quickly but then called to say they wanted to pick it up early. Which we had no problem with accommodating. To get our stuff back I called left a message, no return call. So I have learned to call Perry Moving (they "house" zippy shell) and ask for someone there to locate heather who apparently is the only person working with the shells. She confirmed a delivery for both shells on Thursday. The day before I received a confirmation call. Great. Then they called me again on Wednesday night, no message (I was unable to answer). The next day they delivered AN EMPTY SHELL. I call them get the run around about trying to find Heather then I hear her voice in the background. They will drop off both in two hours. Great. Only I return to our new house to see only one. I call again. Sorry, they say, we can only give you one at a time. I tell them that is unacceptable since I was told I could have both. They overbooked, they said, but they will have the second here on Friday morning. Great. It is now Saturday morning, they didn't even bother to call and I still don't have my second storage unit. AVOID.

Awesome company, awesome rates. Our driver was very polite and worked with us to fit the container in at an apartment complex. WIll definitely use them again next time.

I hired Zippy Shell for my temporary storage needs. Zippy Shell turned out to be great. It was quick and cheap way to get the storage. Very friendly customer service reps

Zippy Shell is awesome. I dealt with Paul and Aaron and they were extremely professional and willing to work with my schedule. The pricing was fantastic. I will definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a POD.
