The person who helped me pick out my glasses and ordered them was fantastic. She is the reason I'm still give 2 stars, cause I came to pick up and no one is here. Store opens at 0900 and the employee strolls in at 0920 not caring about anything.

I have been bringing my oldest here as well as myself for our eye care and they are always beyond professional, warm and kind. They always work to get you the best deal. Not only that, they have incredible expertise; I was told by one of the doctors who was very thorough with my exam, that I needed to see a specialist. I did and it turns out the bump on my eye on the back of my eye diagnosed my bone cancer (chondrosarcoma) at 40 years old! She saved my life and ensured my children still had a mother!

The doctor had pleasant bedside manners. She was also very thorough. When it came to picking out eyeglasses, I asked if she had any recommendations. Without hesitation, she walked over to the display wall, picked out a pick, walked away and they fit me perfectly. I was shocked that she didnt have to look at me to see if my specs suited my face! I was in and out within an hour.

My wife and I have been going here for years now. The optometrist is super knowledgeable and friendly! Never had a bad pair of glasses. We never had to wait long either which is a big deal when you are lugging around a toddler. Would definitely recommend this place to others.

I needed a new contacts prescription and they are close to my home so I went in. Was seen same day (huge plus) and the optometrist was pretty friendly and cool. I noted on my intake that I have controlled Sjogrens Syndrome and allergies, which is why I use a certain brand over the other. No big deal. The exam went fine, everything went well. Until the end. I was told after paying that I wouldn't be given the contacts prescription I paid for and was just given the glasses prescription. Why? Because I have an autoimmune disorder and the optometrist wanted to "know I followed up." I have a PCP, I have a specialist, I have my own health under control. If she didn't see any issues with my eyes and I had no complaints, charging me for a service and then not providing the prescription is theft. I called in later to see what information they needed from my doctor for the prescription and I was told they actually WILL give it to me.....over fax. Still hasn't been faxed. I'm very confused as to why I entered a chain optometrist and still have not received what I paid for and then dealt with bad service through and through. This wasn't inexpensive, was completely out of pocket and I still need new contacts. Waste of time and money. Do not go here. Edit: So after calling them dozens of times, emailing Walmart Corporate, sending a medical release, calling them again, calling Walmart Contacts, calling Walmart.com and speaking to the optometrist herself, they sent........my eyeglasses prescription. Though I was charged for and PAID FOR a contacts prescription on the first day of December. Definitely forwarding a complaint to the higher ups about this store. Wow.

I stood for 30 minutes waiting to be greeted by one of the two employees there. One of them was with a customer and the other was in a Walmart uniform with a walkie talkie, sitting on her phone texting and swirling around in the swivel chair. She either worked in the vision center or was privy to whatever she wanted, because she often went through the drawers and papers for the girl working with the customer. So I sat and waited for again, 30 minutes and didn’t get as much as an “I’ll be with you shortly.” The girl on her phone didn’t say a word to anybody but did glance up, look at me, and go right back to her phone. So I finally got the grace of the first girl’s attention once her customer left. She pointed at me and said “yes?” To which I responded that I was hoping for an eye exam. Apparently the doctor isn’t in today and I can come back tomorrow, even though I saw the first woman getting her eyes checked and purchasing new glasses. So I waited for half an hour, ignored, no customer service, to be told the doctor wasn’t here today. Huge waste of my time. Not planning on coming back.

I have been coming to this vision center for almost 4 years and they are amazing. The doctor is very through and the team is more then willing to help out with other services offered. I highly recommend!

On my 43rd birthday, I decided to get my eyes checked for the first time. From recommendation of a friend, I chose to go to Walmart for my eye exam. The doctor was awesome. She explained everything throughly with incredible bedside manners. As for my frames , she walked up to the display rack of sample frames and picked out a perfect pair for me--Talk about impressed! I definitely was. Would recommend this eye center to others.

I was looking for glasses cleaner. The store is clean and nice. Walmart has built in customers and if you wear glasses, it means you don't have to make another stop. The selection isn't extensive but there are choices in various prices.

I have to give Dr. Philips kudos. She is a very nice and Personable provider. She is very friendly and helpful. She has a very kind demeanor about her which l enjoy. This review is for my son she saw him for Contact lenses about 2 yrs ago and we both enjoyed her so much for having so much patience with my son. At that time. That was his first time getting contacts and he was having the hardest time getting them inserted. She had him practice in front of her and even though he was having some serious issues. She had faith in him and was very patient. Heck l was even getting a little frustrated but l let them continue on. He finally got it after a few visits and she didn't even bill us for that. I wanted him to come back to this location for his contact lenses eye exam and she still is very kind. They accept different types of insurance. Just check and see if you're insurance is covered. They also have a variety of frames to choose from. This is located inside the Walmart in Hanover Arundel Mills.
