As a first time Adventure Rewards member, I was looking forward to using my $25 rewards on a couple of items. I'm a longtime Eddie Bauer customer and I finally joined the program recently.I walked in minutes after opening, store was empty. I found my items, I informed the employee that I was using my rewards, I showed her the email[as I was instructed to do] . She became irritated and rude, didn't know what to do with it. Short and abrupt, she said I couldn't use it in store, [ though it said I could]. I put down my merchandise and walked out. Why did I join the program if I can't use it, I did contact customer service, after explaining multiple times they told me to order online and they would acknowledge it. ?♂️. Honestly this whole situation is really disappointing. Probably won't even use it or buy anything.

Online order placed for pickup on in-stock items four days ago from the Arundel Mills outlet, and unfortunately no communication since, has been left at "processing" status (despite immediately charging my credit card). The convenience factor is gone as I have been stuck in limbo with buying replacement items elsewhere and unfortunately Eddie Bauer's online chat program no longer works so it will be an additional one to two days to get a response via email.

I love that they keep lot of items are 100% cotton. Being allergic to so many synthetic fiber I have very little option. More over most of those synthetic fibers have possibly higher carbon footprint. Talking about environmental friendliness. I think it is time for all fabric maker think to be more innovative I hope and believe Eddie Bauer will be pioneer in that.I am very pleased with their customer service. I usually ware same clothes for multiple year and their clothes are durable. If you find threads and stitch threats are coming off. I think you can exchange the item for a new one of same or lower value or even a higher value if you pay the difference. Please keep your membership information updated for those costumer's service.

The people and deals in this store make it truly enjoyable. Everytime I have been in this store I am greeted with the nicest people. They very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The deals on merchandise are usually a very good deal. Will return.

Still a great place for a few choiced outdoor wear pieces. Though the colors and patterns options has been stale for the better part of a decade. Each year it's more of the same. Eddie Bauer needs to get back to the Adventure part of the business and take it up a notch.
