“These guys are my local IT supplier and they are fantastic. Used equipment is the way to go if you know what you are doing. It is far cheaper and better for the environment. So far we have spent less then 5k on a setup that would have cost over 10 times that new just three years ago. Plus with these guys, the firmware is always updated, tested, and factory reset. As for price, I've not found better, anywhere. I usually check ebay and other sites before buying and so far I've almost always gone with instock901 when they had what I needed. The only thing I wish they would do is open their warehouse to shopping. I've been inside and let me tell you, its nuts the amount of stuff they have.”
“Melody took my varied schedule into account, and took the initiative to decide to help me with my tech issue while I was available. She then stayed with me, and the issue, for about an hour, until it was discovered and fixed. This service was provided with grace and good humor, I could not ask for more!”
“I bought a mac book from this location in 2020 and did not expect to have to need repairs. my son informed me that his computer would not turn on or charge. of coarse that's the only info my son was able to tell me. first off I did not know the geek squad was still around. I made an appointment online but in the meantime I called people who I knew with apple products and all they could tell me was best buy is going to charge you an arm and a leg. I started to call around and got quotes for other location ( NOT BEST BUY) and was quoted 90.00, 50.00 to 180.00 for a diagnostic test. best buy call center rep informed me that the first 20 mins is free. I went on google and saw only the horrible reviews and did not want to go to this location. I decided I was going in and only allowing them to look at my son's computer for 20 mins and that's it. I was greeted by everyone I encountered. I wish I got the young man's name who helped me but I thought I would see him when I picked up my son's computer. Dustin was so helpful and professional. he told me he would keep me updated before making any repairs. he called me and told me everything was okay with my son's computer and I could pick it up. when I picked up son's computer everyone greeted me once again. James was very nice and informative as well. I am so glad I did not go off of these reviews, I hardly ever write reviews but I hope this will help with anyone who need to visit this location.”

“My laptop case was coming apart. Then I lost sound. Thinking they might be related, I called Computer Shop. Although it was late in the day, Craig said to bring it over and he'd take a look. I walked in; he dropped what he was doing and opened up my computer. In 10 minutes or less, I was back in business--both problems fixed. It was clear he knew what he was doing and did it extremely well! If you need tech repair and live anywhere near Columbia, MD, call the Computer Shop. You won't regret it! Quality service in every way, from his professional demeanor and kindness to the quality of his work! Thank you, Computer Shop!”
“Good experience overall as I arrived near closing time. Went there specifically for a windows 11 laptop hopefully not expensive. While they only had a few choices they were good choices at really fair prices. The man clearly explained the hardware warranty. It kinda looks like a repair shop and that’s good to know also.”
“My computer died out of the blue, it wouldn’t power up and would turn my power-cord dead when plugged in.The issue was diagnosed, fried mother board, they offered to either get a replacement computer or to take out and back my hard-drive up. I opted for a replacement (same model and capacity), since it was a few years old, I had a fully functioning machine (as if nothing had changed) within a few days.I’d recommend them every day of the week and then some.”

“Lovely staffs and amazing service. I made an appointment to fix my screen - I was greeted promptly from the moment I walked in and an associate who was assigned to my case found me within minutes after I signed in and she was able get what's needed to be done in 15 minutes.I made decision to buy an iphone at last minute and that too was taken care of efficiently. In total, I was in the store for less than 1 hour.I also want to note, I decided to walk around the store and asked an associate if she could help watch over my new phone charging on their table while I checked their products and she gladly helped me with that.I feel their customer service is amazing because they are so helpful, attentive to their customer needs and efficient. I will always singing the praises for this store!”

“I arrived flustered and concerned about the possibility that my computer had been hacked. As soon as I walked into the store I felt at ease. The store itself is well secured and fully stocked with computers of all needs. Once I had explained my computer had been "compromised", a staff member, Victoria, immediately took a look at my laptop meanwhile explaining that they are seeing so much of this same situation with many of their clients. She checked my laptop, explained how to deal with the situation and was extremely knowledgable and kind. Once she had made sure everything was fine she showed me what to do in the future and I was completely sure that all was well. I would recommend Mac Medics to anyone having computer issues or needing upgrades etc. Thank you to this great staff!”
