This Walmart is great! The guys with 1 star reviews should definitely go check out Walmart in Reisterstown or even in Westminster.

I think people are too hard on these people in these hard times. These employees put their health on the line every day for ungrateful, selfish customers. I have found the employees at this store to always be helpful and friendly. The store is clean and the food and produce side is always as stocked as these times will allow. The only problem is that greedy hoarders are stripping the shelves of paper goods and medicines and are stockpiling them. Kudos to the professional dedicated employees of the Hampstead Walmart.

Dirty disheveled store! Always looks like a wreck no matter what day you go in the store! Never seams to be fully stocked Love the grocery pick, never had issue till today when I arrived at 5:30 and waited till 6:20pm Called the manager of the store because the guy helping was great and doing his best and I wanted to ask why...they did not schedule properly. That does not sound to our face because you can never get in and out of Walmart quickly because they never have all the lanes open even during the holidays! Self check out always has a line around the corner!Prices are good, but that's all Walmart.

I've been shopping at the Hampstead Walmart for years and the only good thing I can say about it is many of their grocery item prices are cheaper than the only other grocery store in town (Weis) ... which is the only reason I put up with this store. Never once, in all the years I've been shopping here, has everything on my list been in stock (it varies from one or two items to half the stuff on my list not being available). Also, many of the items I buy regularly are on the top shelves and, at only five feet in height, I can't reach them and have to stand there waiting for a taller shopper to come down the aisle to help me (there's never an employee around to help). When the cash register price is higher than the shelf price, since I don't want to eat the difference, I have to stand in line at the customer service counter for way too long for my refund. There's never more than one employee working it (while there are always two or three other employees there who should drop what they're doing to jump onto the cash registers to assist the customers waiting in line). My other complaint is there's only one bathroom (per gender) in this entire store. A store this large should have a few bathrooms situated throughout the store. If you're in the rear of this store and have a bathroom emergency, lots of luck in getting all the way to the front of the store to the one lone bathroom in time.

Every time my dr calls in a prescription, they don't have it. I have to wait a day or 2 to get it. I just called to check on most recent prescription and was told it would be ready in an hour or 2. I asked her what does that mean and when do I know when to come. Again, her answer was an hour or 2. SMH
