I was recently told by my propane provider that I was too small to continue to service. I went to google and found Tevis. From beginning to end these folks have been amazing. I called, talked to someone at their office, who was professional and friendly, understood my problem and told me they could help. She called back 20 minutes later with an appointment for a site survey for the following Monday, and apologized that she couldn't get it sooner(this was a Wednesday), but the timing seemed perfectly reasonable to me. Jeff came to my house, he was knowledgeable, explained all the service options and even answered my questions about adding propane heat later this year. Fast forward 7 days, the guys come to install the equipment, explained everything and were very friendly and professional. They got everything setup and told me they would put me in for delivery ASAP but it could be up to a week. Literally the next morning, a Tevis truck rolls up, fills the tank and Im back to cooking. Great team all around!

Tevis just did a tank install and stove hook up for us. They made the whole process easy. From the office staff, to the estimator, and the techs, great people to work with. My only regret is not calling them years ago.

Update. Someone came out and replaced the cover a few days after my call. Thank you. Changing review to four stars as I still had to go through all of this for something so simple.
Driver broke the cover on the propane tank during delivery, also left fill cap off. I understand it broke because of snow/ice, that is fine. What I do not understand is the hassle I have to go through to get it fixed. I did not find it until a week or two later. I called Tevis and was told the driver left no notes and they had to call him and would get back to me. I never heard back so I called again to be told not to worry it would be replaced at the next fill. For my tanks that could be a year. While i was assured from the nice lady on the phone it wasn't a safety concern, I responded that it was cosmetically annoying. It shouldn't be hard for all the trucks that drive by for someone to stop and replace it. After she spoke to her manager I was told they will see what they can do.
I will edit this review if it gets repaired. My overall experience with Tevis has not been good.

Outstanding service!! Tevis delivered propane to our single family home with same day service when everybody else said it would be days. They also inspected our tank and made sure everything was working properly! Very competitive rates and superb experience! I’d like to especially mention Bonnie, the propane specialist and Christopher, the delivery technician! Wonderful individuals! Thank you again for making our house warm in this freezing weather!

We have been with TEVIS for a few years now and it’s been a great experience. A device on Our tank Alerts them when we’re at 20% and they come out automatically. Totally hassle free. Customer Service is also exceptional. You get a real person on the other end who knows your account and can help you right then without passing you along to someone else or putting you on hold for 15 minutes. Don’t be fooled by other providers that give you a cheap introductory price then leave you without propane in the dead of winter, Like happened to us several times prior to switching to TEVIS. We highly recommend them.

From the first day I started using Tevis I have been very happy with them. The entire office staff is not only a pleasure to speak with, but a pleasure to deal with. Tom with the service department is on top of things and even calls if he notices that one of my tanks are empty to see if there is a problem with that tank. I don’t need to call them when my tanks are low being I have tank monitors so they see when they are low and send a truck out right away. Let’s move on to Bonnie my sales lady she is a joy to work with and is always calling me to make sure I am happy with everything and texts me just to check in from time to time. So all and all I would have to say if you need a good and reliable propane company go with Tevis they are the best all the way around the board. I give them a 5 out of 5.

This rating is based on Tevis providing a second new propane tank and the plumbing to hook up a new generator and a new gas stove. The job had a few hiccups, but any issues were promptly taken care of. We were especially pleased with the outstanding service provided by the propane supervisor, Tom Shaffer, who went above and beyond in helping us during the process of installation and inspections. Thank you.
