Yesterday, I visited Chavez Auto for a vehicle inspection on my Chevy Tahoe. I must say, they truly deserve more than 5 stars. Their customer service is top-notch, and they were able to accommodate my busy schedule without any issues. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, making the whole experience pleasant and efficient. I will definitely be returning to Chavez Auto for all my future automotive needs.

I have been going here my whole life with my family. Used to be great service, great pricing, family owned and was always a pleasant experience. Last few times have been absolutely brutal. I called for an oil change the day before and they scheduled my at 9am the following day which is Friday. I get there and they say they are closing early and can’t do the oil change. The time before that they put on new rotors and some other work and when I picked up the car they drained my gas all the way down to 4 miles till empty and I almost ran out of gas getting to the next station. And the time before that I was getting an oil change and somehow they cracked my center monitor?? Just really strange. We love Oscar but come on man. Hard to come back with this something happening every time. Wish you guys the best but got to be better.

Mr. Chaves is the worst person to provide a service on my car. He charged more than 12,000 dollars and he does not respond to me for the problems I have in my car. I called him and he told me that he did not respond for that reason after charging more than 12,000 dollars. What do you think about this man? Never in my life can I recommend him because now in my car because I don't connect the cables correctly I only have noises.

They never fix the one thing you request, they always find something extra that has to be fixed to make the bill more!

Was quoted $240 = 2hr of work for a simple serpentine belt replacement. Way too over priced folks. Stay away :)

I had two separate very small repairs done there months ago, where I felt that I liked the place, the family, and the way they worked. I felt happy that I finally found a reasonable, dependable, and honest car mechanic close by.Unfortunately, and shockingly, the third visit took a dramatic turn to unimaginable territory, causing me to change my opinion about Chavez Auto. But instead of getting into details, I’ll continue now with my generalized opinions and recommendations for the general public, because I believe that is more beneficial for everyone reading this.I would like to remind to the Chavez team that ‘survival of the fittest’ also applies to companies. If the company isn’t fit, it won’t survive. Losing “fitness” can happen when customers seek services elsewhere, or tell other customers about their experience with the company, or, worse, get legal assistance in securing and defending their interests and legal property. The term “fittest” doesn’t refer to muscle strength, physical fitness, or being in a position that makes it easier to extort others. Rather, “fit” means, in the context of companies, to successfully honor contracts, and to do so in a way that causes customers to leave with a positive feeling of the company and the work performed. All of this necessitates, naturally, obeying the law and regulations of this country.Everyone in the U.S. should inform themselves about the ramifications and intricacies of U.S. contract law and tort law. The directors of Chavez Auto, for example, could use this insight to analyze the level of harmony between their business practices and these laws.Generally speaking, before you visit a mechanic or decide to become one, it makes sense perusing the aspects of contract law concerning the enforceability of verbal contracts and which remedies are available in case of contract breach. Everyone should know how and why extortion are inappropriate; hence, it is not one of the acceptable remedies for breach of contract, and especially not for the party breaching the contract. There’s so much to contract and tort law, so taking a course or buying a book would probably be a good start. It will help you in becoming a well-informed customer, such as to know your legal rights, and it will definitely help if you are interested in starting and running a successful business.Service: Engine repair
