This is an incredible asset to have in this area. I was greeted by friendly docents that welcomed me in and pointed out the different collections. There was clear signage and even an audio tour that I will try next time. I highly recommend and look forward to returning.

So my wife and I visited here because we saw an exhibit we wanted to check out during our walk on around the park on Monday. It was Tattooing in America. They also had and bunch of local art hanging up as well as older painting and such to look at. They also had children's art work on display. All together it was such a fun time walking around and checking everything out. We will definitely be back again. Thank you.

Hagerstown's treasure! The Weavers' Roundtable has met at the museum for over 49 years. A wonderful atmosphere for our creative group! Thanks for having us there.

What a hidden gem! When we visited, the museum included a Picasso print/pen exhibit and a special display of children’s illustrations that was simply spectacular. Their permanent collection is excellent, including Titian, Rodin, Pearle, and so many others. One highlight is a working tall clock made by David Rittenhouse in the 18th century — and it still tells the right time and date. Divert off the highway and visit this museum!

This place is fantastic! They have a great selection of art work. Admission is FREE! They currently have works by Pablo Picasso. There is a small gift shop that has christmas ornaments and Christmas cards that feature the museum. I highly recommend for the art lovers. I will be returning in the future as their art work is rotated in/out so you have new stuff to look at.

It's an amazing museum on the city park site. The works of art on display are fascinating to see and range from Picasso to local artists' work. Currently, there is the childrens book art on exhibit for the public to see, and it's beautiful. How often can you see original Dr. Seuss works! The museum is always FREE, and they have a small giftshop with quirky art keepsakes for sale. I take my kids here for the experience, and it's always a good time!

Went to treasure sale they have once a year. The only bad thing is parking because the lines you park between are not wide enough! They really need to redo those because when you have special events you have to worry if someone parking beside you is gonna hit your car with their doors. Not enough space! Love the museum. Love the treasure sale!

The museum is really lovely.I have been multiple times over the years, and they regularly have new exhibits and even live performances. It is located in Hagerstown City Park, which was voted one of the most beautiful city parks in the country. If you find yourself in Hagerstown, you should make time to visit.

The front desk security guard and docent were so kind and friendly and the museum collection is really shocking for being so small. You’ll see some familiar names

This free museum is really free. There is no pressure to donate, and the museum is state-of-the-art. The bathrooms are super-clean. The exhibits are nicely displayed and well-lit. The people are friendly. A gift shop is available. They have their own parking lot. A beautiful pond is next to the museum. Walking trails are nearby. The museum is located a few minutes from I-81. I went to specifically view Norman Rockwell’s The Oculist. The collection of art is outstanding.
