“Over the years I've been both a consignor and a shopper. If you're taking consignments in, the wait line can get long, but it moves fast. The ladies who take in consignments are always very friendly and efficient. If you're a shopper, there is a nice selection of men's, women's and children's clothing and shoes, as well as handbags. The prices are excellent.”

“I love the Salvation Army -you can buy things at a really good price and it helps the community as well. The staff is very nice and helpful. Great selection of vintage Corningware, good books, movies, cds and magazines. Nice selection of clothes and shoes too. Lots of things for the children. It would be nice if there was more parking spots.”

“I won't go into details about how our oven rack got donated. It just did. And it didn't dawn on me until making Sunday morning Swedish pancakes the next day. My hubby wanted to go and get it back from the Burhans store. I knew better- for sure it was fine into the distribution system already. But I'm always ready for a car ride and we showed up at Burhans right after they opened. But yesterday's truck was already gone to the Penn Ave center. So we drove out there. The young man who answered our knock on the "employees only" door was very friendly and directed us to the front entrance. The manager explained about the trucks being unloaded and things might be gone already. But she took our contact information anyway. A couple hours later she called! They had it! We offered a few bucks to pay for our "donation" but she didn't take it. super nice people to deal with. And I'm super happy we didn't have to find a new oven rack.”
