This PETCO is getting worse. Went there this morning and NO carts to be found. Asked the guy at the counter and he seemed he didn’t care and just said customers must have them. We seen I customer with a cart and another car with products or cleaning stuff and no one was around it. At 10 am I would think the store would be ready for customers. I can’t carry the big bags of dog food without the help of a cart. Ridiculous!!

Really bad experience... signed my dog up for grooming. I was 20 minutes early.. workers were there, but no manager to open up. One girl called the mgr who told her someone was on the way. 5 customers outside waiting for the 2 groomers.
Lady shows up in car, parks out front, throws cigarette on the ground, unlocks door, and tells customers, "You all will have to wait..."
I took my dog in, but forgot my rabies papers.. just the tag.. girl said no-go. I was upset by that. That was 8:20ish. I left and went to my vet's who gave me a copy of my records. I went back at 8:45am.
I showed them the tag, they said they needed the paper. I told them the paper was in the car, I would get it... THEN, they said no, that I had missed my appointment... Remember, I was 20 minutes early, waited until around 8:10 for someone to arrive and unlock the door.
My vet asked why they didn't call.. he could have faxed the rabies cert... my fault.
So, I thought no haircut, but thank goodness for PetSmart... I called them, and they worked us right in... BTW, Petco advertises "Walk-in Grooming Welcome"...

They treat the animals very poorly. I came in and saw their Beta wall, several fish were deceased and some were decomposing. My fiance and I were just there for some dog food & when we alerted management about the deceased fish they responded with “oh yeah someone will grab them in a minute”. We continued shopping for 20 minutes, maybe longer, and when we got to check out we saw the fish were still there. We left the dog food at the counter and went to tractor supply for the food instead.

I went in this morning looking for a specific brand of wet cat food. I searched the isles without any luck so finally I asked an employee. This young man had the best customer service skills as anyone I have encountered in a long long time. After looking around he with the help of another employee located a case that was in the storage room because is was discontinued. Gave me a great deal. Very impressed with the service I received

5/5 was told my grooming appointment for the following day would be cancelled. Spoke with a manager as this is the second time in one month that my appointment has been cancelled by the store, he assured me a store manager would call when he arrived in the next hour. No call of course. Would not recommend at all
