Northside was recommended to me by a friend who lived in Hagerstown. The best recommendation that I've ever received. I had a watch that I hadn't worn in a few years because the watch band kept on opening and I had multiple jewelers tell me that they fixed it, only to have the same issue. Northside fixed it the first time and said no charge that it was just an easy adjustment. I still paid them since they took the time to fix my watch. The watch stopped working a few months later and I took it to them and it was just the battery and they fixed it while I waited and cleaned the battery contacts at the same time. I was really happy with my watch until a pin in the link came loose again (very sharp and protrudes just enough to hurt someone). I had forgotten that this was an issue in the past that was never really fixed properly, but I took it to Northside and they said that someone had installed the wrong size pin and replaced it with the correct size pin for $6 while I waited. They are truly grateful to serve you and it shows!

Fantastic customer service. I inherited a clock that had been repaired and serviced here. The team (Eric) was able to use notes from the work done those years prior to walk me through getting it running again. Highly recommend!

They have a collection of clocks that run the gamut from all types of mantel/wall clocks to colorful Kit Kat Clocks to stately grandfather clocks to elaborately carved cuckoo clocks. They are beautifully arranged and well-cared for. While there are no watches, they do have brass compasses in addition to their clocks. There is a room reserved for antique clocks. When you walk in, it's like walking into an animal shelter to pick out a pet - the various clocks are pinging, ticking, chiming, and plonking for your attention.Other pluses for this shop is they provide off-street parking and clock repair.

Great job restoring an old family Grandfather clock. It's been 2 weeks and running great. They are busy because they are good. They repaired the damage of another repair shop.This clock is a family heirloom and it's beautiful to hear. Look no further but you'll have to be patient as they are good. Worth the wait when its done right.
