We had a difficult decision to make of letting go one of our cats, Beast, that has been with us for 12+ years. I feel compelled to write this review and offer my greatest appreciation to all the Longmeadow Animal Hospital staff I encountered yesterday. From the receptionists who handled my many calls to schedule the appt then canceling the appt and the patience with me not being able to talk through my tears gave me a comfort I needed. I wasn’t rushed but knew they were incredibly busy and for that I have to say thank you!
To the vet tech who handled Beast like he was her own, talking to him and loving on him with such a kind voice and gentle hands gave me reassurance that he was at the right place.
To the vet who spoke gently and did not make us feel rushed and for giving us a piece of mind of Beast’s condition, knowing there was no further aid we could give set our hearts a little more at ease, thank you for that!
To the entire staff at Longmeadow Animal Hospital who heard the pain and urgency in my voice and did everything they possibly could by getting us in as soon as possible, which was an immediate appt. THANK YOU!
It is compassionate people like you that provide heartbroken people like us that kindness we need during such a hard time. I’m so sorry that my grief will not allow me to remember your names but please know that your faces and kindness will forever be in our hearts!!!

My experience with Longmeadow animal Hospital was wonderful. They were very welcoming,friendly and answered all my questions even if I asked them several times. very pleasant they talk to me while taking care of my animal explained everything they were doing which I appreciate they made you feel like family. I would highly recommend them just an overall good experience and they even helped me through a very difficult situation at the beginning of 2024 when I had to,put my beloved cat to sleep. They talked me through it. They not only consoled my cat but me as well and let me spend time alone with him while I could. It was a sad situation but needed to be done. They even gave me a box a very nice One a great size for my cat was big in length that had a lid and places on each side to pick it up, which made it much easier to do. They even sent a condolence card which everyone at the Hospital signed saying how sorry they were for the loss of my cat. They went above and beyond and that made me so very happy and grateful. It’s a pleasant atmosphere pictures of peoples pets on the wall,very clean,organized and welcoming and again I highly recommend them..? my dog that is an older girl( almost deaf and diminished sight in remaining eye so very leery around people) she had a previous accident and lost an eye prior to coming to Longmeadow as you can see in the photo.But they welcomed us both took very good care of her on a recent visit and my cat pictured here which they helped ease his pain/suffering. They helped me through a very heartbreaking situation ( w/my cat)a bit easier for both of us both and having them welcome (Roxy and I) and making the transition from her former vet to them so all so effortlessly I will always grateful for the understanding and compassion of the vet’s care and staff at Longmeadow Animal Hospital.

These vets need to go back to school. I absolutely refuse to go to this clinic by any means. I will drive to another state to give my pets care if that’s what it takes.

If I could give you all a negative rating I would! Maybe try not to judge someone coming from a vet that has retired before you learn facts! You all made me absolutely uncomfortable and disgusted WITH THE TREATMENT TO ME AND MY PET! I wanted to leave without anything being done and you go and give my animal medications I did not ask for or want cause I was wanting nothing to do with you! The only thing good from the visit was NOTHING! I do not normally post negatives, but character counts, and this place was horrid for me and even the people I came here with!

Longmeadow is an excellent animal hospital. The staff is great - they are super helpful in trying to improve a pet's health. I definitely recommend them!

Longmeadow Animal Hospital Blew me away today. They fit me in for a sick dog visit same day and went the extra mile to address UTI ( not found at previous vet test) and anemia. The friendliness towards me and our husky was impressive as is their knowledge and patience to answer all my questions. The entire office works as an efficient team as well. Refreshing-

My family had a 17 year old cat whose health was failing. Over the last few days, it became very apparent that we needed to make a difficult decision. From my first telephone call to the clinic to the completion of the euthanasia, we all felt that this was the clinic we needed, even though our cat was not one of their patients. Dr Rebecca Gurshman AND her staff were professional, caring and sympathetic. All made us feel like we were making the right decision. I would HIGHLY recommend this clinic to everyone. If my family requires a veterinarian in the future, we will definitely utilize this clinic!!!

Neptune loves going, but also loves leaving. ? The doctors and staff are great! I've been taking my pets there for years, and highly recommend Longmeadow Animal Hospital.
