I took my car there on the recommendation of the emmisions testing place. The mechanic told me he didn't even do any work. The service writer then charged me $50 just to get my keys back. Never again. It's a clip joint. Go somepmace else. At least the mechanic was honest, but to no avail.

The folks working were friendly and helpful. They gave me realistic timelines for being in and out of the shop. I would definitely go back if I need help with anything else on my car.

Top notch shop! From Barb answering the phone and being super professional, to poor Donny who had to come tow my POS pickup truck when it wouldn't start, sorry dude and to Tim who did the diagnosis and figured out the key fob had taken a dump, these are good people! The work, communication and pricing are all outstanding.

Keplinger's towed my vehicle because it wouldn't start. Within 2 hrs of it arriving at their shop, it was fixed and ready for pickup!
Tim is super friendly! I highly recommend Keplingers!

I had an oil leak Coming from underneath my car. I called Keplinger's and made appointment. Dropped my car off at garage the night before (they have key drop box). Got a call the next morning after they found the source of leak. I gave them the "go ahead" to fix it. They were prompt and professional. I had my car back by the end of the day. These people are first class. Thankyou so much !

The people were friendly and helpful, and I was initially going to have them also do all the work needed done on my van, but after getting home and realizing that I was charged 17.50 for "shop fee" for supplies used and stuff for a battery they didn't even install. I understand the shop fee so that they don't have to nickel and dine you over screws and whatever else but why they would charge it on a part that doesn't even need any extra parts even if they had been the one to put it in. Super shady billing practice that seems more like it belongs in a slimy used car lot.

Although this review is late, we find it very important to us that we acknowledge a wonderful company. on August 31,2023 we broke down on Route 70 just outside of Hagerstown. As we are from out of town we didn't know who to call. With great luck the kind tow truck driver took us to Keplinger's Automotive Center. After checking the car it was discovered that we had a hole in the radiator which could be a very long time consuming repair. The four mechanics in the shop had all finished their jobs for the day, (it's now 2:45). All four jumped in and repaired our car, checked everything and sent us on our way after only 2 hours! The kindness they showed us along with the expert work done for "out of town people" was beyond anything we could have hoped for and the price was very reasonable, if we lived in that area it would be the only place we would get service on our car.
