Logan and Andrew from the Hagerstown branch did a great job installing a new 500 gallon tank and hooking it up to my home and pool heater. After taking the time and effort to place mats before driving on the yard (to keep from creating ruts) they did an excellent job placing the tank nice and level and in the desired location. They had to work late to get everything done but had a great attitude and it was so refreshing to see a company that still places a high priority on customer service!

Recent user of their service (11/2023). First delivery they never showed, never called. I had to call them. Second delivery along with service call for propane odor. Never showed. Seems like bad decision coming to them.UPDATE: (Upgrading my star rating.) They did show up @ ~7pm. Kudos to that. The tech, Brian, was great. The bill has an issue that I will deal with customer service tomorrow.

The sign says they're closed from 1:00 to 2:00 I get there at 12:54 The kid says we're already locked up very bad for customer service

Had technician Logan out for a service call on our gas line that had been pinched at some point.He was very professional and courteous and did the repair and checked for leaks and assisted in lighting pilot light Great company with great people would highly recommend them for all your gas needs.Thank You ,Mike Davenport

I moved into my house and was told my propane take was ours. It was listed in the deed... then Heller's gas came out and filled it all yhe way up... saying it was empty when the home inspector told us it was half filled. They told us pay for the fuel or they will take the tank. Over $200. We paid due to the fact they said as long as we have an account we will be able to call if we need more and they will leave it alone. I have used our gas fireplace once and now a year and a half later I have another bill... never seen them come. Never asked them too. But now every month I have a late fee attached. Waiting for an email from them and an explanation of why they rip people off.

Checked prices in our area and Heller's Gas was the best PLUS they price lock! Setting up service was easy and Mr. Jordan was very helpful and answered all of my questions.

This place is the worst! I had written a review previously after all the back and forth I had with customer service. They overcharged me, told me they were coming out and then wouldn't show and this went on for months. Their customer service manager Crystal called me and said I could request to only talk to her when I called from now on if I took my review down. It seemed to work for awhile so I removed the bad review.Crystal is gone now and it's back to dealing with terrible customer service all around. This morning I had two techs show up at my house this morning and I had no idea they were coming. They knocked on the door to tell me they were taking the tank monitor off. The tank monitor that took me months to get before was now being removed without any prior communication. By the way, interrupted an important work meeting I had since I didn't know they were coming.Heller's - you should really work on proactively communicating with your customers. Also please tell your techs not to mess with my automatic gate, don't walk through my yard I'm currently watering, don't walk through mulch beds with seedlings growing and don't keep knocking on my door when I said I was on a meeting and they needed to come back another day to remove the monitor. I don't appreciate being told I would be charged $75 for you all to do whatever you want!

It seems all to often I encounter less than friendly customer service agents especially when there’s a problem. So I feel I need to recognize a gentleman named Nick at Hellers Gas who went above and beyond to help me. Stellar customer service and I definitely recommend.

Beyond frustrated and very disappointed with the (lack of) attentiveness and service from Heller's Gas ! An automated system of delivery combined with a customer service team that does not communicate to each other has me out of pocket over $1000 in propane, the vast majority of which I never even got to use, due to a gas leak, which I also paid for. Then they charged me AGAIN after I discontinued the service and paid my bill in full, to pick up their tanks! So the gas I paid for that was left in the tanks was not refunded! I live in a tiny home and only received a few months of propane to my cooking stove! I would encourage any of my friends who are looking to start/switch over their propane service to look elsewhere. Shame on you, Heller's!

The only bad thing I have to say about Heller's Gas is I wish I had known about them sooner!Hands-down cheapest propane prices by a longshot. In addition, they do not charge a tank rental fee for those that use a decent amount of propane. Finally, the install and setup stage for their tank is straightforward and cheap.

Watched their tandem bobtail driver make a right turn from Greencastle Pike to National Pike, FROM THE LEFT TURN LANE!! He cut me off!! Only to go to their facility located on National Pike. Such a safe driver. What other unsafe practices are they doing?Thank god for DriveCam!!

The delivery driver was extremely careful on our driveway and even stopped just before the peastone to prevent it being dragged down the rest of the paved driveway. He was incredibly polite and courteous. Excellent service!
