Just here to add to Johns review from five months ago. John ultimately did have someone do the job on his 2007 4 cyl. Kia for $100 labor (on his back in a driveway the guy took about an hour while John waited ) plus the $75 cost ( not $100 ) new part.
In a shop setting, a fully exposed, in the open, 10” -12” flex pipe held in by four fasteners ( two nuts, two bolts, no welding or cutting required ) would probably be an easy one hour job all total. At $150 ? -$175 ? an hour shop rates , plus the part (even at a high list price) …….. The $700 ? quote still seems way out of line.
One hour labor for $600 ? Come on guys, have a heart for the working guy with an otherwise fully passed Maryland inspection vehicle needing one small flex pipe leak fixed.

I personally went to Dave’s bc I saw the great reviews & it was close. I went there for an inspection on a used Altima bought from a Nissan dealer in VA. Amazingly, the pulley was missing from my alternator. I’m not saying this was them but pretty hard to believe this would get out of a dealer with this issue.
Beyond failing for that (they wanted $800+ to fix it), it failed for a torn CV boot & a small patch of rust on the inner wheel well. (What?)., when I had all the necessary repairs done, he failed it again for gorilla tape & bedliner over the rust, which he told me would be good enough until I fixed it permanently. I know MD rules on inspection are tough but this guy was likely pissed I took it else where to have the work done. If you bring your vehicle there, beware of a nice speaking gentleman trying to get both hands deep into your pockets. Good luck.

I went here for a state inspection which was $80. They're friendly and very fast, they took me without an appointment which was awesome since I didn't plan ahead and i needed it that day.
They found an exhaust leak at the flex and told me they would fix it for $700 since it needed a whole new part and everything. I was ready to pay this guy a weeks worth of pay. A friend of mine happened to overhear me talking about it later and when I asked him what he was laughing about he said don't go back to that shop. My friend fixed my car for $100. The part cost $75 and it took him an hour. The car passed a MD state inspection afterwards. How can you sleep at night while robbing people all day, every day? DO NOT GO HERE. I have been going here for around 4 plus years for all my vehicle needs. This is laidback "Mom and Pop" shop that has always been honest with me, and their prices are not unreasonable. They are super friendly and kind. Highly recommend!

Dave Devin and Dominic. Very friendly awesome dudes. Very fair on prices and gets you in and gets you out. I highly recommend Dave Devin and Dominic if I'm having trouble Dave's always there. Sometimes I do get Dave and Devin mixed up because they both sound alike Don't take that offense lol. But this is an awesome family friend owned business trust me you won't be disappointed?

Thus far this place has been the most honest repair shop that I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. They could've told me that my coolant was leaking because of some super expensive issue, but they really hunted down the source and explained everything!
