I took my cat here because it was too painful for her to eat anything. After multiple tests and a physical examination they came to the conclusion that's the sores in her mouth were caused by a condition called stomatitis, and her severe weight loss was caused by hyperthyroidism. They did a full dental extraction for the stomatitis (but wasn't able to remove one of the roots) and gave us some transdermal thyroid medication. We had so much hope that she was going to make a speedy recover based on the information they have provided us, but weeks went by and she was looking worse. We took her to Greencastle Veterinary Associates, where they quickly made the observation that she was suffering from some type of mouth cancer. They also told us that she should have been put down so much sooner, so now I'm living with the guilt of having her suffer way longer than what she should have.

which I could give 0 stars. alley being closed. When we got there they had done X-rays showing multiple pockets of air under her skin causing her discomfort and pain. Enough discomfort for her to not want to pass a bowel movement or eat or drink. She is doing somewhat better due to the care of the emergency clinic but still refuses to eat , drink , or pass bowels. I called Cumberland Valley vet clinic this morning to talk to the emergency clinic which did end up happening. I was informed by Cumberland valley vet clinic that I would not be able to speak to the proper person until Tuesday. Which I'm not sure she will make it then. At the end of this phone call the person I spoke with at Cumberland valley vet clinic asked "what would you like me to do" I said anything to help than the person on the phone continued to ask the same question. She wasn't concerned about the well being of miso and that she might pass away due to there surgery. She didn't offer any options on what to do. Except to ask me what I wanted them to do. My poor baby miso might die and they could care less. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT PROBLEMS WITH YOUR ANIMAL! Read about it on Facebook! Before and after pictures listed

Our Mika was really sick with cancer and needed to be put down . I know a human way of doing it. I was just messed up crying l. They gave her a shot that she jerked hard before passing. She yelped before passing. It messed with my husband and I for a long time. You give a dog sleeping medicine before putting them down. They didn't. We hate this place. I'm close to them and it would be convenient. My new adopted dog will never step a foot there. All money and no caring. Please. Take my advice. Stay away cause they are heartless. Only / as you can read / will take your money. There are those that love Pets - and like Jesus / use it to make a profit. In memory of our Mika and we love you and sorry this happened to you. So why we posting this.

We started going to this vet a few years ago when our previous vet office closed. The care we have received at this office is extraordinary. The staff is all caring and understanding from the front counter staff, to the techs to the vets. Our dog does not like being confined or feet touched but the staff was able to cut our dogs nails and look at her torn dewclaw without issue. I could not speak higher of this office. They are able to get you in usually the same day if needed. They have provided exceptional care to our dog since switching to them.

does your pet need what they are suggesting? probably not are they trying to separate you from your cash? without a doubt. I'll never go back here and I would suggest looking elsewhere unless you have a boatload of cash you want to give them.

My 1st visit establishing my rescue kitten at her new Veterinary clinic. My kitten was a bit scared not knowing what to expect. Staff was kind and friendly. They explained the check up visit, asked if there were any questions or issues. They were gentle with my 8 month old kitten and the visit went well. Thank you Dr. Watson!

I would have recommended this veterinarian clinic to anyone but now I will not.. I been coming here for years.. My dog recently had puppies and I wanted to make their well puppy visit. When I was told I need to make $100 deposit before they would even schedule the appointment. I've never missed an appointment as long as I've been coming to them not one and now I have to make a deposit. I just feel as though that is so wrong and unprofessional so I will not recommend this clinic to anyone else. They lost a good customer.

I called one morning about my son's ferret. Our regular Vet does not treat small pocket pets. They told me I could drop her off and they would call me with a diagnosis. Unfortunately her condition was somewhat elusive. I picked her up and didn't have much hope. The Vet called twice to check on her and changed the course of treatment. She was supportive and knowledgeable and gave me numerous suggestions for supportive care. One month later she is back to her playful little self. I found the Vet to be compassionate and caring. As for the expense, I believe that if you decide to take the responsibility of pet ownership you need to prepare for the expense of preventative care as well as emergencies. Nothing is cheap anymore. When was the last time you bought a cup of coffee for $.50 cents? I would recommend this business based on my experience.

I been here with 3 different dogs, I have no idea why anyone would give them a bad review! Prices aren’t bad, they are super friendly and loving towards my babies and very understanding when it comes to being short on cash! Keep up the great work

CVVC is a Outstanding Veterinary Clinic . Dr. L. Watson did an outstanding job for our pet. She did go out of her way to give him the best care . Our pet is at rest and now gone. Thanks to other Doctors and staff, vet techs who helped.

I just wanted to take a minute to thank your clinic today. We had to put our dear sweet furbabie Leo down today. The professionalism, excellent care, compassion, empathy, and love that we received today was amazing! We certainly couldn't have made it through today without your staff. Our hearts are breaking tonight, but know that we made the right decision. Thank you so much for going the extra mile to treat us so we'll today. One million thanks.

Staff was very nice! However Dr, Dolan is very unprofessional in the remarks that she made about me. I was trying to help someone with their animal. She needs to be kinder to the folks that support her business. Very sorry she is not. She could gain some clients....Would not recommend going there unless you want to be treated like you are less than human!!!

we went today during the craziness that is going on. the staff was extremely polite even though they all was running around like crazy. between having to come to the cars to get the pet, come talk to the owners about what is going on, bringing the pet back outside and then getting payment. i highly recommend cumberland valley.
