I like this store. It has a big variety of games and reasonable prices.

Been going here for around 10 years or so and tbh if this review was on the store 8 months ago I would give it about a 2, employees used to use dab pens openly in the shop which besides compromising anyone with lung issues it’s just unprofessional but now there isn’t any of that, the store is pretty well kept and the staff is as knowledgeable as they can be considering they sell just about every system. However they are a business, I had an issue with a game I bought which had a disc that crazy enough wasn’t the game I bought. After the staff took full responsibility for it, they doubled down on their policy of no “cash refunds” I fully understand that’s a company policy and many third party stores have that policy and I understand(not respect) that and have no ill will to the employees. If I hadn’t wanted to wait for them to find an alternative copy, I would have had to argue over the return of my purchase as I was sold something that I had not bought. The legal ramifications were evident the entire time however again I just wanted the game but if a customer had not wanted to wait, the company would have tried to refuse a refund which is not just absurd but pretty shady. The company or business cartridges galore is about a 2.5 but the employees are a 10 out of 5 stores. And I can’t stress that enough that the employees make this store great, and be weary as like any business they care about profit, you’re satisfaction brings profit until it doesn’t, simple as that.

Lots of cool retro games but they are extremely overpriced. Saw many games marked up 50% above ebay prices and in worst condition. They give 30% cash and 40% store credit for the current ebay going price trade ins.

Coworker of mine was looking for some difficult-to-find Ace Combat games for PS2 that he couldn't either find elsewhere or were unreasonably priced. Upon calling the store and checking we confirmed the 2 games were in stock! Without hesitation the gentleman on the line offered to reserve the two games for weekend pickup. Needless to say my coworker is elated to give himself an early Christmas give but also to have a spectacular 1st time experience with Consoles Galore on Dual Highway! He plans to stop in this weekend to pickup his goodies.

I liked shopping here before one specific employee left. Since then, I've decided not to come back. Not all the employees are rude, but one in particular is a consistently bad experience to deal with.I've bought a few wildly overpriced games from this location because I wanted them for my collection, but have had various interactions with management that left me unwilling to come back. This is over the course of several years, where I have consistently been talked to like I'm stupid at this store. I own over 10,000 games and frequent almost every video game store in the WV/PA/MD/VA area.. except for this one.The owners should make some serious considerations about their staff, because when other local collectors have nothing nice to say about a store's management, your sales will suffer. Why would I pay more AND be treated poorly by management? Never again.?

A year ago I bought a PS4 controller that I'm assuming someone spilt soda on because the home button gets stuck in the controller, I got really frustrated and just spent money on a new one from a major retailer.Last week I bought 3 games, 1 nostalgic original ps game, and 2 Nintendo switch games. After trying both of my new switch games I found I really do not enjoy one of them, nothing wrong with it it's just not fun for me. When I called the store to ask about the return policy I was told "We don't really have a thing where you try a game and if you don't like it you return it, but you could see if we'll buy back depending on when you bought it you just won't get full value." So you're telling me if there's nothing physically wrong with the game and I don't enjoy it I'm better off leaving it to gather dust on my shelf?Other stores (GameStop, 2nd and Charles, etc.) have return policies as a courtesy for their customers. After visiting this store for a couple years I'm not sad to say I won't be going back. Learn how to treat your customers.

Don’t ever sell your games or console to this place. I sold a white Xbox one X and games for only $80 back in April :| My girlfriend today brought in a very good condition Wii and about 5-6 games for only $45 on top They aren’t afraid to sell overpriced, broken games or games with the wrong discs in the box And undersell you for your games or consoles. You're better off shopping/selling online

We were surprised, a decent collection of new and vintage games and console. They usually have a monthly deal to grab a few games for a good price. Definitely worth checking out!

When I went here today, I got a Scarlet and violet build and battle stadium and I got extremely lucky. It even covered the cost by about 10 dollars!

Emailed them about trading in a collection of games and systems (with pictures on everything), they gave me an estimate and said to go to any of their locations. Went to the Hagerstown store and they offered me about the same price. No bait and switch (which was my big worry). When I was in there they seemed to have a good selection of games from all sorts of systems. Great experience for me!

I gave this place over 5 chances to stop screwing me over and disrespecting my business, they sold me a faulty wii av cable for 23 dollars and when I noticed that they didn’t work two weeks later, I told that it was my fault and all they could offer me was 3 dollars. Everytime I come here I leave angry asking myself why do I keep coming back. The manager has always been rude and disregardant towards me and whatever I bring in to sell. I offered to sell my switch, he offered me 80$ and some lady behind yelled out she’d offer me 100$ before I even said anything to anyone, he instantly threatened to ban us. I paid it no mind even though it left a bitter taste in my mind. I came back today (two weeks later) trying to trade it in for the price originally stated (80$) and now he’s acting as if he didn’t remember me and how he threatened me over nothing, offering me 40$ now for the same switch he was giving 80$ for. You want to be in a pretentious environment full of people that don’t care about you or your time, feel free to come here to waste your money on prices they fluctuate whenever they want. Great products for sure, terrible management. Never coming back here again id rather just go to Fredrick.
