Bought and set up a 3 handset "land line" phone system, assembled it, set it up and although it flashed numbers when someone called, showed date and time, etc. it remained essentially dead -- no ring, no dial tone. So I drove 10 miles back to Best Buy to ask a few questions, only to be told that this would be considered "troubleshooting," which would cost $39.99, and suggested that I contact Comcast, OR they were perfectly willing to give me a new phone set "in case the other one is faulty." So I drove 20 miles in the other direction to the Comcast store, where a "kid in a backwards baseball cap" immediately told me that I needed to plug the main handset into my computer modem, not into the wall line, as the old phones had been set up. Everything immediately worked perfectly. But no one at Best Buy could just tell me this without charging me $39.99???!!!

I really like this BestBuy, but their prices are not competitive like Amazon, Ebay, or Walmart stores. You can save so much somewhere else.

Wanted to look at car stereos. Everything on the website touts free installation. Store signage says free installation with any unit over $199. I have money I'd like to spend. They say their guy is booked for the next month. Just say you don't offer installation.

Their phyical media is vanishing. Very small selectiom of video games. A few of the employees seem bothered by questions and you have to look for someone to help you. Nice selectiom of tvs though. Feels like the store is heading for the inevitable closure. Sad, i used to look forward to shopping here.

I didn't buy anything here, I was sent here by Verizon. My phone locked up and Verizon couldn't do anything because I had forgotten my password and Verizon said that Best Buy had more technology and they could probably unlock it. I went there but I didn't know you had to have a appointment to get your phone worked on, so I made a appointment ( 4 hours later ) soonest I could get,and they couldn't fix it,they told me they can fix Apple phones not Motorola, that's the only time I was ever in their store

In all fairness, I am not sure if this review should be directed at the local store or their corporate office.I purchased a new dryer from Best Buy in October 2023, the dryer had dents in the side out of the box.The driver provided me with a phone number for after delivery follow up and uploaded pictures of the damage.Everything went smoothly at this point, called the number, was offered a gift card and I decided to accept that in lieu of returning the dryer.The problem is that it is now January 9 2024 and I have yet to receive my gift card after several follow up calls.Initially I was told that it had been mailed out in a plain envelope and I should have received it and it could have been a chance that I may have tossed it.Then I received a call back asking me if I knew someone named Julie, apparently Julie had purchased a sound bar. I contacted my local post office, they looked into it and Julie is not the name of my postal carrier so I opened an case with the inspector general.In the meantime, Best Buy was going to reissue the card. I called the week before Christmas and was told that it had been sent out on 12/14, after checking my mail for it one last time on 1/8, I called Best Buy on 1/9 and asked for an update.The latest update is that the request received it's first approval on 12/5 and was waiting on a second approval for "some reason".First of all I don't think that Best Buy should send out gift cards that do not require some form of verification in order to active and secondly, I think that the gift cards are being stolen by your own staff.I still have a dryer that was worth $180 less than what I paid for it and Julie has a new sound bar!

I purchased a computer and I was bamboozled. I didn't get my free gift. Wlhen I went back the next day, I was told the clerk left. Smh
