I needed flowers for an anniversary and I didn’t want to use an online company. I love to support local businesses and with such short notice to Dawn, she was able to put together the best arrangement of flowers I’ve ever seen. Pricing was perfect and she was able to get it done around my busy schedule with just one phone call. HIGHLY RECOMMEND A++++++++++

I never write reviews but in this case I must. I will start by saying the flowers I ordered for my daughter WERE received and WERE beautiful. If that is all you care about, you will be fine using this florist. HOWEVER, be very wary if you place an order and expect hope or need it to be delivered on time, or actually even on the day that the THEIR website promised. And do not expect the owner to care much if at all that her business has lied to you... yes it is a lie to say you will do something and then not do it but collect money. So here it is. I ordered flowers to be delivered to my daughter at the school where she is a 3rd grade teacher Tuesday 11/03/2015. I used the FLORISTS website and received confirmation saying it would be delivered as requested. Side note: Delivery is $5 for local and by local I mean 5 blocks from the florist. But that is fine. In any case, we also ordered flowers for my other daughter from a different florist (different city) to congratulate her accomplishments as well. That daughter texted several hours later and said thank you for her gorgeous flowers and even posted pictures on her Facebook because she was pleased. Not a word from my daughter in Greensboro. That night, my wife asked our youngest and she indicated she received no flowers but, noted it was wonderful that we had acknowledged her older sister (truly happy, not jealous, just to be clear lest I get in BIG trouble). Fast forward, the next morning at 9:30 I received a call from Greensboro Florists (I assume the owner although she never said who she was other than from the business). She said that she had been out the day before and "...just got the order" and was wondering if I still wanted the flowers. She said that she had been out of town on Tuesday. I said that indeed I wanted the flowers that I had already paid $77.03 to have delivered... the day before. I mentioned that I was amazed since I had written confirmation saying that the order was to be delivered Tuesday and that NOWHERE was there and indication the business was closed. She said that I had placed the order through Teleflora, of which she is a member but has no control. But that she had placed a message on her answering machine saying she was closed and I SHOULD HAVE ordered through her website rather that her Teleflora link AND called her shop. I mentioned that I HAD called just after 9 a.m. Tuesday to place the order but NO ONE ANSWERED and NO MESSAGE indicated she was on holiday. She responded "Oh, well there was supposed to be a message put up" ... what ever that means. The flowers got delivered and all is good, but I was still annoyed because I paid $5 (I know I am beating that petty horse to death) for flowers to NOT be delivered. AND I was sure I used the FLORIST'S website not Teleflora and I had called, and NOTHING indicated she was out. One hell of a way to run a business. I should also mention that I have used these folks on a number of occasions and they do nice arrangements. So, in the continuing saga, I complained to Teleflora that they should have some method of knowing that the shop was closed and not make delivery promises that they can not keep. Their response: "I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. Unfortunately, we are unable to assist you with an order placed directly with one of our member florist rather than with Teleflora. Please be advised that concerns need to be addressed with the shop directly with which the flower order was placed" So, today I called back and explained that I was unhappy that I had been lied to on several levels, e.g. No phone messages saying they were closed, I did use the Florist's website, and there was NO delivery when Promised. Greensboro Florist's (I assume the owner, she never actually introduced herself) only response/reaction was to defend that it WAS Teleflora, not her, that she deserved a day off now and then, and that the word lie is too strong. What she NEVER SAID was "I'M SORRY". She very begrudgin
