“AMAZING EXPERIENCE! I took my cat Bella to visit them for a sanitary trim and her nails clipped. We were in and out of there in less than 10 minutes! She was a little scared but they handled her with so much care and I liked that I was able to be in the room. They were great and reasonably priced, way better experience than I expected! When we got home, I could tell she was so happy and felt so much better from the condition she was in before her appointment. Whether I need to see Dr. Teich specifically or another vet - I will typically get the day and time I need. This is a super busy practice, for a good reason, so I appreciate this.”

“My parents took our pets to Fairland Animal Hospital when I was a young girl and I remember my Dad always saying how much he respected Dr. Whall and team for the tender love and care given to our dogs. Now at 63 years of age, I'm taking my pets to the BEST EVER Veterian Hospital around. Recently, my 8 year old Yorkie needed dental surgery and Dr. Andrew Gough was the vet who cleaned and extracted quite a few teeth. When I took her in I was very nervous but after speaking with Dr. Gough he told me exactly what to expect and to not worry. He said, if anything changed he would call me so, prior to surgery he called and explained further .. I was relieved and assured things would be fine. A few hours later I was called to come and pick her up and that she did fine. Let me just say "AMAZING" she was more than fine.. you would never have known she had surgery. I went home with meds and was really thinking she would in pain.. NOT... she was up running around and even ate a little food ( if I let her she would have eaten more).. I can't THANK Dr. Gough and the great team of folks who looked after my fur baby. I'm so pleased, never in the many, many, many years have I or my family been disappointed with the service, care and love. THANK YOU FAIRLAND... THANK YOU DR. GOUGH !!! THANK YOU DR. “Good vet, reasonable prices, but watch out because they consistently have no sense of efficient scheduling of services, example- they will skip a heartworm test at the annual visit if it's not "due" for another few months, then force you to come all the way back for a tech appointment to do the test, else they won't update your prescription. They also don't put in any effort to sync annual vaccines so that you're not making extra trips and paying for extra appointments. You'll have to go out of your way to catch their lack of efficiency/math skills.”

“There is no other vet in DC I would trust to care for our dear, sweet, elderly basset house. We've gone to Union Vet Clinic for the last 7 years, since moving to DC. The entire staff is always so wonderful and Dr. Gross has been our trusted vet the entire time, but if ever Dr. Gross is out, we have always received wonderful care from the other Doctors on staff. I must say, sometimes it is very stressful coming in because of our dog's advanced age and not knowing what is wrong with her. But seeing the wonderful front desk staff at the clinic always makes it easier. Rebecca is always so helpful on the phone and Nesha is so sweet and always asks how our sweet girl is doing, even when I am just there solo to pick up medication. Bryce is so amazing and empathetic whenever we come in with an issue, I can tell he truly cares and he has also stayed late to help me pick up medicine. He constantly goes above and beyond to help us. And Christian the vet tech is always so tender with our sweet old girl! Union Vet Clinic is truly a family, they are incredibly skilled and compassionate and I'd recommend them to anyone he needs expert care for their furry best friends!”

The staff were very compassionate and patient - especially when I couldn't get through a single phone conversation without breaking down.
