The older white guy is the worst post office attendant I have ever met in my whole life.He must be very unhappy with his life and drags that energy to work.Whoever is managing this post office has ignored his behavior because there is a good number of reviews highlighting the same concern. He had the guts to ask me to take a survey on him after treating me so so bad on Monday the 18th of March 2024 @ about 0910am.Now, I can't seem to see any movement one very important mail I sent through him.The mail hasn't moved from there and I don't want to believe what am thinking.I Pray to get the right channels, lay my complain and escalate his exit from this post office.

First off I just want to say a huge thanks to Kelvin Nix he helped me out with my passport transaction it was easy and fast he was very nice, goofy too, but polite. when I first came into this location there was only one person named I believe Robert Caucasian with long silver hair, he was extremely rude to his customers and arrogant he would argue with the customers made the place seem uneasy

Scheduled an appointment to get my twin 2 year olds a passport. The guy doing them at the time was very nice and allowed us to add my fiance application to the bunch. When it was time to take our toddlers photo they started to cry he informed us they were having a meeting and we had to calm them before brining them back. No problem they calmed for a few moments and started whining. Again dad and I are doing our best to calm them to take the photo to be done. Some lady comes into the office and says that they are too loud ? I apologize and state they are toddlers I can’t just say be quiet and magic happens we are trying our best. We go into the hallway to attempt to take the photos. We were able to get the pictures and they start crying again. Another worker comes out and states they are having a zoom call and they can hear the babies crying. Again I apologize and again state they are toddlers. If this was the case schedule your meetings outside of passport hours knowing that FAMILIES with possible babies/toddlers will be here. I won’t be back to this location

The worker named Bob, (old male with gray hair ),,,His energy in the room is absolutely toxic to the business, customers, and the workers who are currently work with him. He is incredibly rude, dismissive and exhibits an unprofessional manner, all absolutely unacceptable. I witnessed his intimidating behavior towards other female customers on two different occasions and have experienced it myself. From my observations and experiences of him, he thoroughly enjoyed belittling his customers and making them uneasy and uncomfortable. Hopefully the USPS supervisor can see this and make this place better and happier. The customer deserves a pleasant visiting experience.

Visited this post office a few times and have never had a bad experience. Just this week, walked in during lunch, and there was no line! Clerk #7 was pleasant and a quick worker, and helped me ship my gifts for the best value.

Worst customer service I’ve had in years in this place. After all the wait the old guy doesn’t have a change for 10 dollars what? They should announce it before or post it somewhere. He also said the charge is 7.99 for certified mail which other post office charges me only for 5.70. Please Safe your time don’t go to this post office need a zero star.

unfortunately, i must add my name to the growing list of customers who have had issues dealing with the old male with long, gray hair. his incredibly rude, dismissive and unprofessional manner is absolutely uncalled for - will be escalating this growing issue through official channels. as a fellow federal employee, i'm keenly aware that his behavior is wholly unacceptable. If he's a contractor, he needs to just be terminated.

It's sad that one person can have such a negative impact on a work environment. That person is the caucasian guy with grey/silver hair. He's not only rude, dismissive, controlling and disrepectful, he's incompetent. I don't understand why he is working with "any" customers. Such a poor and detrimental representation for that location. The man is obnoxious! He needs to be removed from all contact with customers.

Slow and terrible customer service. Older Caucasian guy with silver hair and long beard is the worst. You’re not a cop you work at the post office.

Maybe it's because I know so many local folks and I never send packages, but I rarely come to the post office. To keep a reasonable flow of traffic, the parking lot is mostly one-way -- which can be confusing if you're on Hanover Parkway and miss the sign. But otherwise, I appreciate the flow. I think the only times I've been inside are when I've needed stamps, which I get once every few years -- I send a bulk of things for the holidays, and always get more stamps than I need. I needed regular stamps, since it felt odd sending holiday ones in the summer, so there was that. One time I stood in line it was a little long, and the other time it was totally empty. I always drop off my letters at the box outside.I do take jogs, so I've seen when it gets really busy. Avoid coming after work, around lunchtime or on weekend afternoons if you can... you will indeed be dealing with a lot of folks.

Rude, disrespectful and defensive for no reason I called about if I could pick up mail here because I had something important that was never delivered and the lady on the phone was defensive and rude poor customer service they need to be more respectful instead of fighting with people and being uncooperative over the phone better training with phone etiquette.

I have lived in Greenbelt for two years and this is the first time I’ve been to this location. Kelvin Nix was very helpful, friendly and attentive to my needs of my mailing experience. This is what I enjoy writing about a great customer service experience.

You should go to any other post office if you want to deliver something. I dropped off four packages at the counter and after three weeks there is no scans and no tracking information. I called the USPS customer service asking about it and when I mentioned that the four packages were going to four different locations and none have any scans, he said that the only real option in that case is that they never left the post office.I went down to the post office and explained it and the person at the counter would do nothing to help. All he told me to do is call the number I already called where they told me to contact the local post office. The worst part is that since the person I dropped it off with never scanned it, I can't even submit a claim for the lost items. I don't know if it is incompetence or something nefarious, but stay away from this place.
