This place is horrible, I wouldn’t recommend getting anything from here. You order in advance and if they don’t know you, you won’t be getting your stuff till 30 minutes.

I go to Starbucks throughout the MVA, and I never run into issues. Ever. This one? I swear they recruit rude people. First of all, I do not like this practice of the cashier or barista picking up the scanner and trying to triangulate with my phone for payment. When that happens, I politely ask the person to put it down so I can scan my purchase. Do it here? You get major attitude, and back talk. I was told, "I have to push the button on this scanner to make it work." I replied, "Put it on the counter and press the button and I will scan it." It scanned. Then the cashier turned to pour my coffee and started muttering some derogatory remarks about me as if I wasn't even standing there. That was all I could handle. I asked the person to reverse the charges back into my account. By this time, I was hot. This is not the first time, second, or third time this happened in the last four or five years at this location, and it is ALWAYS about the same darned issue. I have been in this store three times in the last year. It is a mile down the road from me. It's logistically convenient. Two were positive experiences. Third time was the "charm". Each time I have a "charming" experience, I swear I will never go back to THAT store. But sometimes, I'm a glassy-eyed optimist and dip in that well again. There is something inherently rotten going on at this location. I've had enough practice in grocery stores, other retail stores and Starbucks over the last decade or so, so I think I've got this scanning thing down pat. Honestly. If I need help, I'm not shy asking for it. If the scanner does not work without having your finger on the button, get it fixed or get another scanner.
