Nearly 1 star if it wasn’t for the beds and shower being acceptable.First, the entire hallway smelled very strongly of chlorine from the pool. Second, the room itself was musty and moist. Third, there were moldy bagels put out for breakfast. Plus no regular milk for cereal put out. There was only the almond milk or coconut milk for the coffee to use on cereal.And finally, the icing on the terrible cake. I was given a piece of paper at 8am saying that there would be no water in the building between 10am and 5pm! That is completely unacceptable for a business. How can you have people living in a building with no running water?? Any other business would have to close for the day. Completely ridiculous that I was given 2 hours notice for such a huge issue.Honestly, a horribly overpriced place with hardly any decent amenities.

It's a comfortable enough building, good location, but had its pluses and minuses. The rooms were clean and spacious, but the heater was not working correctly, and the shower head was stripped and would not stay up above shoulder level. Very inconvenient when arriving late in the day and needing a nice shower and cozy room to retire to.The good; front desk and cleaning staff were all pleasant and helpful. There is a nice continental breakfast until 10am, and an indoor pool open 8a-8p.

Do not stay here, they charged me a security deposit of $150 , then upon checking out they charged me $250 and another $32 cleaning fee. $284 for cleaning. My sister had brought 3 balloons and she put them in the trash, but they probably went out and dumped them all over the floor and said it was $250 room cleaning fee. The area is sketchy and not safe, the rooms are very old and mold. When I called to speak to a supervisor the rude lady on phone said there’s a no supervisor and that they’re privately own. They will try to add charges and take your deposit for more revenue. I had a horrible experience.

I come to Maryland once a month. I stayed at this hotel this past weekend and I was not pleased. First, both rooms I was given smelled like mildew. The first room was dirty. The bathroom tiles and grout in between was rusted and gross. The shower head was just as bad and filled with soap scum. The bathroom door was stained and nasty. I was not comfortable. I even killed 2 roaches on my bed!! They were able to accommodate me and switch me to another room but I was not pleased after the bathroom situation from the first room. The second room was a little better but the bathroom was still kind of dirty. The dresser piece with the refrigerator was so dirty and dusty and the foundation was peeling.I definitely had high hopes for this hotel but I will not stay here again.

Lobby is Welcoming - it's giving luxury. Hotel room nice with balcony (nice surprise). Bathroom nice, sink has a very slow drain. Starbucks - rip off, breakfast was ok - took a long time tho, coffee was watered down. Checked out at 4a, took 10 - 15 minutes. Receptionist said they had to reboot system - at exactly 4AM!Nearby activities: It's near the FedEx FieldWalkability: Fridays is across the road

Housekeeping cleans room at checkout (must place garbage containers in hallway) but Front desk staff will supply items needed (towels, coffee, etc.). The room did not have hot water but Christine, front desk staff, relocated us to another room.Thanks Christine. 2nd room had a peculiar smell. Snack items are priced at $4.00 or higher. Room was spacious but small sofas had stains.

Early risers are unable to use the pool and whirlpool before 8am. ☹Or after 8pm . If you enjoy an early, swim go elsewhere.Walkability: You are not walking anywhere from this location .Food & drinks: Don't expect much service at the "a la carte" breakfast counter. You will wait around for someone to show up and act like you are inconveniencing them.

First time coming here for and it was a great experience! The highlight of my stay was Andrew at the front desk. He is very understanding and will always tend to your needs with a solution making you feel welcomed like a valued guest! The rooms are great and have everything you need for a comfortable stay.Rooms: Rooms are spacious and comfortable

No hot water, only barely warm. Hot baths are an absolute must, and a bare-minimum expectation for me when traveling. Hair from previous guest on bathroom floor. Smelly pillows. No microwave in room. It is a shame because the hotel itself is nice with modern rooms. It is the staff who is letting everything go to hell.

Won’t be staying here nomore … front desk people were very rude … also rooms all smell like old cat litter and there are little silver fish in the rooms also oh and depsit no longer cash it’s 150 on a card !!!

Sonesta Select Greenbelt Hotel comes with a hefty price tag but delivers a motel-quality experience. The room I stayed in was cramped, with unclean sheets and a grimy sofa. Disappointingly, there was neither a safe nor a "do not disturb" sign for privacy.

Stayed at the hotel 2 weeks ago. My visit to the city was to verify the wellness of two grandchildren, who attend universities in the area (campus shootings). Was rudely treated upon check-in, and thereafter. Reported extreme noise to the Front Desk staff, which was ignored until I confronted the man on duty. Saw the manager on the second day of my stay. Asked for business card, and email address to file an official complaint. She (Ms. Davis) gave me an inoperable email address. I'm sure it was intentional. Called hotel after arriving back to Georgia, and left a message for the manager to return my call. Never happened. I will be sending a certified mail to the hotel owner with more specifics, for this summation does not scratch the surface.K Davis, Georgia

Went there for a family event, rude front desk, nice room, the microwave is not in rooms you have to go to lobby, my family had a room book as well , when we get to room there was another guest in the bed with there family, spoke to front desk the lady stated we will get a rebate for the room and it will re funded to the card on file, however I paid with another card, they stated that they could not find that card, that's not true because you would not have given security deposit back after check out. I informed them and offer to send them proof that it was pending, they said they don't Need it, I inform them that they charge another guest for some items I brought, they said it's ok they did not need the proof. The lady manager claimed she was sorry she took so long to get back to me , but we spoke three days ago, and she stated she would call me back, I'm still waiting . They made me feel like they were doing me a favor, never again, if you choose to stay, watch your crad, they are not a place of their word.Noteworthy details: Very very disappointed

Had a horrible time here, front desk refused to give me amenities, Mr Kumar, am Indian front desk denied me request when I told him I need fresh towels, had to reuse old dirty towels. I felt dehumanized.

It’s horrible! Please read this, we first parked, read the sign it says you are leaving your car under your own risk. The hotel is not responsible basically and they absolutely have no security. We asked the front desk lady she said yes we had many people who their cars were broke into or robbed. We almost didn’t believe it but she also said all the other hotels around the area as well so that area is NOT recommended. Inside the room! Carpet had molds pretty bad, bathroom stinks look at the pictures hair all over the bathtub. Towels has stains and hair and they smell horrible. Breakfast was not an option for us. Coffee/potato/ hard bacon/ disgusting eggs. I was almost going to throw up just by me trying to see what they have didn’t even get to try it. The ppl and the community here is not recommended absolutely. Please dont wast your money. 150$ deposit. 327$ 3 nights. Way more than this hotel deserves.
