This place is really clutch when I need basic colored tops and bottoms for costumes. But it can admittedly be hit or miss -- sometimes you'd think they have the basic things, and they just don't... or my size won't be there. But even so, there is a lot of stuff to choose from. Aside from costume stuff, they're perfect for basic PJ's or gym wear if you're not trying to show off too much, haha. The prices are really great deals... but the quality is definitely on the lower end, which should be no surprise. I would say Shoppers World is much smaller (and less chaotic) Forman Mills. As long as you know what to expect, Shoppers World ought to have what you're looking for. Give em a try!

I've visited this store a few times. I like the deals however, the customer service and store exp. is poor. I asked some female worker's who were talking amongst themselves, about some capri's and of course they weren't interested in helping at all. The loud beeping noise in the rear of store drives me crazy. One visit, the guy was vacuuming which stirs up dirt and I have allergies. Today, I had to return my capri's and female worker walks away from register. She knew I had a return. She comes back and then call's for the manager. She could have done that while I was waiting for her. Manager had to come over three times to complete transaction. She wasn't familiar with American Express which is a widely known credit card. She asked if it was a debit card. I'm not sure if Manager's are training their employees or if they just don't care. Good customer service is hard to find these days.

I have mixed feelings about this store. I love it and l hate it at times. I have found some great deals. Especially on my scrubs. Tell me where you can find scrubs for $5.99 Not even Walmart will give you that price. They also have cute uniform tops. I have purchased household items from here. That was perfect for my bathroom and a nice hallway runner. I recently stopped in and noticed they started selling Ashley Furniture. Now l was in need of a new sofa and chair set and Ashley is a good brand and it was a reclining sofa and chair and they sold me there. I also went to Ashley myself to see the price difference Trust me it was a huge difference. I found out that they have a contract with Ashley and l could save with them. They didn't have it on stock so l preordered it and it took two weeks to come back. The Assistant manager there was new and every time l spoke to the manager of the furniture department on the phone he was always off when l came by and said he would leave all paperwork with the Assistant manager which he never did. So trying to figure things out with the new manager was always a challenge. They also don't deliver so we had to rent a truck. I love my sofa and chair so much and when we came to pick it up everything was completely intact. Which is a good thing because the three stars probably would have went down to a one. I do love the deals l get out this store but wish they would hire more cashiers. One cashier working on a Saturday is not cool. I probably would continue to shop here when I'm in the Greenbelt Maryland area but would definitely only buy items that would fit in my car. Get it together and hire more help because that's ridiculous to have only one cashier available. I have to say I'm loving the household items deals though. I'm very rarely in the area but l plan on returning whenever l am and rack up on more scrubs.

They use to sale a lot of designer brands but when I came back recently they cut back on that tremendously (stealing run amok?).Now all they really sale are low end brands that you can find at Gussini's,Rainbows,and Gallos not that theirs anything wrong with that (they know their clientele in the area) but you use to really be able to find some nice high end brands for a good deal.The store is a lot more disorganized (and dirtier) than I remember and now they're in the business of selling furniture? I personally wouldn't buy none from here unless you're a college kid on a budget but that's why Ikea is up the street right? Employees? Yeah there are those if you can find them.......and when you do they really don't want to be bothered .... On my most recent visit I was able to find some nice pieces (like a pair of LEE jeans for 10 bucks and they were marked down from 40) and a Pokemon shirt that was made out of very fine materials and since I workout I will,on occassion,by a pair of work out pants or a T-shirt.Bottom line? You can still find a few key pieces here but it has become more of a rarity and you have to really look and have time on your side......and speaking of time,try to spend very little of it with the employees who's undiscovered mission is to sour your day because they really don't want to be there.I will probably only stop in here again if I'm in the area and I need a T-shirt for my work out.

Bottom feeders paradise for low end clothing, shoes, housewares, etc. Pretty good selection, quality is pretty much what you pay for. Don't bother looking for employees out on the floor to ask questions.Large and clean facility, cashier lines tend to back up at busy times.

Shopper's world at Beltway Plaza in Greenbelt Md has a large selection of Maxie dresses! For the big girls! There are many styles to choose from. the quality is truly wonderful!! The prices are great too! get them while you can, they even have layaway!
