We asked for a clean comforter to replace the comforter that was not in a duvet. Also the blanket in the room was not clean and the bed was slanted and appeared broken (which I still haven’t complained about). When asked for a blanket, it appears to have “especial” written on a clear tape and also yellow dirty areas. The front desk person told me there was nothing they could do until the morning and that I could get my refund and check out when I told her I wanted a refund. There has got to be a manager on call?? I find it hard to believe there is no one to call when your clients have no clean sheets in the entire facility?Last time we will be staying here although the location was great.

Most Residence Inns don't have ovens in their kitchenettes but this one does! Points deducted for having approximately zero of the necessary tools to use it - we had to buy disposable oven trays, and ask several different employees before someone produced a cutting board - but on net still above average. Ideal location right by the highway and still managed to be pretty quiet.Rooms: Full kitchenette! A glass front fireplace (we didn't try to use it because it is summer so it might have been decorative, but still)! Plenty of space, a table and chairs and a desk, overall excellent furniture situation.Nearby activities: Very convenient to a variety of nearby restaurants, stores, and points of interest.

Stayed here many times over the years and the service is always good. Breakfast attendant is always helpful and his personality is a great way to start the day. Recent improvements are very welcoming.

Wow! Just WOW! I called to check on my reservation and Amelia greeted me so warmly, I felt so at ease speaking with her. I told her my needs and she assured me, she would take care of me! Boy, did she EVER! I think I'm in the nicest, cleanest room, I've had cross country in YEARS!!! I arrived frazzled from the road and a lovely young lady Angie was even more warm and welcoming! I truly felt WELCOMED here and I had the most comfortable, clean room!! Wow! Even the kitchen was spotless as well as the fridge, dishes sink, floor, etc! I was BLOWN AWAY by how WELL THIS hotel passed my white glove test as even the windowsills and pictures had been recently dusted and were spotless!! The management here should be VERY proud of themselves as I'm overly impressed! (Did I tell you I'm a Hilton diamond member and this is my first stay at ANY other brand in over 10 years!?!) Amazing job! THANK YOU!Rooms: The room was the CLEANEST hotel room I've ever stayed in!!Safety: So many cameras up and parking is very well lit!Noteworthy details: The staff is incredibly kind and warm!

The staff here is so warm and friendly. The property is well maintained, it’s quiet and I really enjoyed my stay. I needed a later checkout due to a later flight and they did their best to make sure that happened. Thank you to Lori and all of the other amazing staff!!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. We originally had a reservation for the hotel next door but our dog was past the weight limit and didn’t find out until we drove 7 hours and went to check in. Anyways, I called the Residence Inn and Jamie at the front desk was so helpful and understanding. I went right over there and booked a last minute room. All staff interactions were pleasant. Our room was spotless and the bed was comfortable. This hotel is in a prime location too. We were able to check out and go on a nice hike in the park across the street. We will definitely stay here again the next time we come down to the DC area. What a great hotel!Rooms: Updated and spotlessNearby activities: ParksSafety: Security on siteWalkability: Restaurants, parks, and stores nearby.Food & drinks: Lots of restaurants nearbyNoteworthy details: Pet Friendly

Home away from Home!We are in the Greenbelt area investigating a place to live so we wanted to stay a week, shop and cook in our room. We requested a room with a kitchen including at least a cook top, mini fridge and microwave. We wound up with a full size fridge, full size stove with top burners and a full size oven, garbage disposal and a dishwasher! When we are traveling a while we get tired of eating out so we wanted to cook our own meals so this place was perfect. Front desk check in and services were great thanks to Lorie, Mike, Jamie & Amilya, quick, efficient and very professional. Housekeeping were amazing and super clean. Food service was a step above thanks to Margarita and Rochelle, they both kept the breakfast bar, which is extensive, stocked up and clean. You can tell that management encourages teamwork and quality workmanship. Thank you for welcoming great stay at Greenbelt.

Not a smoke-free hotel; the hotel is non-smoking in name only.Upon arrival, walking down the hallway to your room you can smell active smoking, and upon making it to your room, it smells like stale cigarette smoke. Smoking in adjacent rooms comes through the vents, and when trying to switch rooms, the new room was worse and literally had cigarette burns on the carpet. There is only a $250 fine for smoking in the rooms, and the hotel staff is too timid to enforce even that. Thus, if you are a smoker then this is a fine hotel because otherwise the rooms are otherwise good and you can smoke with impunity.

They purposely gave me the worst room& lied to me my room was ready that I could check in anytime. When I got there they said the complete opposite, then the room they gave me the sheets were not cleaned , toliet was broken, shower doesn’t work, everything needed renovation and I was disgusted my whole stay. Then on top of that they were playing with my money. They took $280 from my account immediately i checked in then put it back because of holding then waited 2 days later to take my money back which was $258. Then the lady lied on the phone saying she only charged me once . I will never ever stay here this is ridiculous and I’m devastated and yes I will be suing you .

Some residence Inn’s are completely redecorated with a warm welcoming feeling. Others are simply updating carpets and countertops to the older outdated version. This is the latter. Though the staff was great, Marriott’s attempt to make it euro-modern has resulted in it feeling cheap, cold, sanitary and unwelcoming. It creates an uncomfortable hospital-like feeling. I only stay at Marriott properties but I won’t stay here again.

I just stayed for 7 weeks and I was really impressed with the value and service. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The studio room had basically everything you'd need with heaps of room. The breakfast service was up there with the high priced hotels. The location is a very short drive to Greenbelt station so easy access to DC. I was here for work, but would definitely stay for holiday too. Didn't use the pool (Nov/Dec stay) but it looked nice. Recommend restocking/more weights in the gym, but overall really enjoyed my stay!

This place is tucked away in a great location. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I can't express how much nice of a place this hotel is... BUT, we either had bad luck or they were that bad.We were given our room and we drive to our area and it was poorly lit. We get to our room and it's very hot. The AC unit was broken and obviously needed maintenance as the cover wasn't on. I called down and we were quickly updated to a nicer room. While we were happy about the accommodation, there was really no benefit to us because we just needed a nice room and bed. So getting a kitchen was a nice upgrade, however, we didn't expect the refrigerator to make a loud screeching sound like a mouse was dying every TWO HOURS. On the day of checkout, I showed the video to the people at the desk to which they were going to have someone remove the fridge. They gave us a free night but it should've been free.Flute, maybe... I'd try them again but if it's another bad experience, I'd definitely go next door to the Hilton. And I still have the video...
