So expensive. I love the store and delivery is great but I’ve seen coffee at Giant 2.00 more than at a store 3/4 mile away. Same size, same brand. Amongst other items.

After downloading the Giant app, I discovered there is no setup for ordering a customized birthday cake from the bakery. I called the Giant store at Beltway Plaza and spoke to a really brusque man. When I asked about options for trim and letter colors he abruptly said NO and gave me the options available. I asked if by closing, meaning 9pm is ok for latest pick up times. Again, I got the loud NO By 7. I forgot to ask when pick up times start as well. When I called back, @ 8:45 the bakery was closed. The person who answered the phone didn't know the time range for pick. She did say the bakery would open at 8 am. I will call back tomorrow and hope not to get my head bitten off. This entire transaction would be really efficient if available via the Giant app. Many businesses are thriving due to the convenience and ease of customizing orders using their apps. I appreciate the features, reward points, last minute deals from CVS, Wawa, Harris Teeter and more. Best of luck to you guys.

Compared to their sister-store in Hyattsville, where i was accousted by an abusive female emoyee and physically pushed by an overly ill-mannered male employee, and at 72, i confess, that got this ol' man's heart pumpin'!But these folks "SHINE"!Bigger, "Friendlier", Better Stocked, Clean, and i suspect, BETTER MANAGED.*But don't take my word for it. See for yourselves.

Not very well organized for such a large store....same products on up to four different aisles!

They never have enough cashiers at anytime of the day open. It's usually only one register open throughout the day & the rest is self check-out. The cashiers that they do have, are very low & the costumer service is not helpful or available.

Went to the meat section for a sale and the whole thing was emptied and the products left in carts with one employee near by. It's either all being cleaned at once or price changes. This was either planned poorly or not at all, I didn't end up buying anything since I didn't know how long the meat was sitting in the carts and was afraid I'd get my family sick.

Pharmacy staff is awesome, they are willing to order your medication. Caring and competent. Great customer service. Much easier to deal with then surrounding retail pharmacies.

I've never been to a grocery store technically inside a mall. I though it was weird to pull up here and not see and entrance right from the parking lot. Instead you have to go inside and walk up the corridor to enter the store. Once inside, it feels just like you came into the store from outside, but it felt so odd to have a grocery store as an anchor store for a mall. Nothing wrong with it, just my first time seeing this.I honestly do not remember why I came in here. And if you do come here and want to hit the mall, make sure that Giant is your last stop before leaving. I mean, you don't want your perishables to go bad by the time you finish with the rest of the mall.I'm still not sure which is the best grocery store in this area. I mean, this feels familiar in name, coming from an area where Giant Eagle is big. But a partial name is all they really share. The deals aren't always the greatest, but they do have a loyalty card. I see that you can use that a nearby gas stations for fuel discounts. In the search for my grocery store, this will not be it.
