My Uber was late and I was supposed to be there at 8:45. They told me I could still be seen and was. Since I did all the paperwork online they had everything they needed except my copy.

I have been a patient with CRA for the last 6 years. I normally go to the Bowie center where the staff is extremely nice and respectful. Unfortunately, the Bowie location couldn't accommodate me because I needed a diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound. The facility in Greenbelt front desk lady was pleasant but the nurses were not. I was told by the very nice doctor I needed a biopsy, and to call the biopsy coordinator (they have 4). I was able to speak to a Ms. Lisa Aguilleria and I asked her very politely to assist me with the scheduling. Ms. Aguilleria proceed in a very inappropriate (in my opinion) manner to make comments about my insurance, my deductible and she was very cold and directly said if you don't show up with 1250 dollars we won't perform your biopsy. She also said that does not include the pathologist so it could be way more, and she wonder if I could afford it. This person does not know me, and I didn't have the opportunity to explain my employer provides with gap insurance and that she could rest assured she will get paid. It was very cold, and transactional. While I completely understand this is a business her delivery was horrible and, in my opinion, she was biased against me because I have an accent (I am an ethnic minority). I was very upset about the whole conversation. I did complain to her supervisor who talked to me and was very nice and polite. Someone from the RadNet corporate office called me and were as confrontational as Ms. Aguilleria. Anyway, I ended up finding another provider for my biopsy. I don't intend to have any other test done by CRA if I can avoid it. Cancer is terrifying enough on itself to have to deal with people treating you like you are a freeloader. None of the services provided to me by CRA were charity or welfare. I am lawfully employed, and my employer provides health insurance and gap insurance. Most practices offer payment plans or even they let you apply for a credit card to pay for medical expenses not covered in the insurance. But I didn't need any of this so I really can't understand a medical professional being rude and disrespectful to a person who might be battling cancer, who was just given very bad news.I have never written a review about this practice particularly because I loved CRA at Bowie South and my interactions with their staff were always positive but this whole situation was a bridge too far. I wouldn't recommend this practice, if you can find someone else who show some empathy in the catastrophic event cancer is please do. There is no need to add to your stress and remember none of these services are free.

Honestly could have been better. Check in service was fast but they weren’t to nice. The sonogram tech was really rude and not nice at all. Very condescending since we came in to get the gender of the baby and belittled us for coming in sooner as new parents we are learning all the time and I gave my dates to the person up front if I was too soon they should have turned me away then. On top of being rude she was pressing really hard causing pain and when done she tossed the towel on me and said ok you guys can go now. I felt she was disgusted just by touching me.

Very prompt and professional service, so far. The only fault is not enough parking spaces in the vicinity of the building where CRA is located.

I didn't feel like the person who took care of me felt very rude and very discriminated against, apart from the fact that she brought up the stretcher knowing that she had my feet in such a way that it hurt me because my foot was stuck between the bed and the table where they do the ultra and I didn't know. Sorry, I don't think I'll get there again.
