Small store, wait too long, employees not real sure of themselves as it pertains to product knowledge

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE: Went in for a simple exchange and had the displeasure of interacting with JEANNETTE - sales associate - short hair - . She seemingly went out of her way to try to make a simple transaction - purchased online for store pick up - went back with original email confirmation— difficult.
I simply wanted to exchange a defective —battery operated candle holder — product for the same product -one that wasn’t defective.
Jeannette first claimed that the item was out of stock —there were 2 available—
Jeannette then stated that I needed to pay the difference — I purchased for $40 and it’s currently $25 —. I didn’t care about pricing and repeated to Jeannette that I simply wanted to replace the defective device with one that wasn’t defective.
Jeannette maintained a curt and nasty attitude from the beginning until the end. Was the nastiness necessary for a simple exchange of a defective item?
If anyone from Bath and Body Works management is reading this, please impress upon your employees that customer service is important. Turning a simple transaction into an unnecessarily negative experience will cause the company to lose not make more money.

Best customer service I've ever had since moving to Maryland. Young black lady very knowledgeable very helpful smiled and kept her conversation with me professional and upbeat the entire time I was complimenting her on her customer service and bubbly personality. No ratchet behavior or slang terms. ( Thank goodness) This will be the only B&B I frequent. Can't remember her name it started with an S. Unique name. Awesome employee.

The employees in the store were very uneasy and unapproachable. They had very poor customer service. It was concerning, I'm a strong believer in people being human and not having good a day. However I'm sure it wasn't every employee having a bad day. The tone was very unsettling especially to be such a known brand.

My friend n I went n there to use coupon that we got n the mail....she saw additional things she wanted n ended up getting a free gift n the process.Thanks to the help of staff that was working there...They were extremely helpful...the young lady working on floor was very nice and really added to the experience.She understood how my friend liked certain things...knew exactly how she saw things.....cause she very particular when it comes to shopping....

Sept 11 2023Eldorado Customer service was excellent! The young lady he was working with greeted me at the door with an attitude. Volunteered no assistance. She has doo doo locs and the time was between 1:45 -2:30pm
