This is the worst Banfield I have ever experienced. Workers are rude and lack concern. If the workers hate their job they need to quit. Simple. I was skeptical to bring my pup back after 2nd visit but I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. Not sure what was done to him on his first visit but on his 2nd he was absolutely terrified of the workers and Doctors at this location. He cried, and ran from them and literally cowered at the sight of the workers. This is wayyy out of my dogs character. I know something was done to him at this location. Please do not go here.

would not recommend anyone to bring their dogs here, front desk makes you feel so uncomfortable with their nasty attitudes and mugs on their face. went in for a two simple vaccines they ended keeping my dog all day I had to call them to see if she was ready and they were like; ohhh yeah she is' like whattt? . The DR does not help you with concerns either. place just wants money no care for ppl beloved pets

My friend has been taking his dogs to this Banfield Greenbelt Md Veterinary Clinic for more than 10 years. One of his pups (13 year old dog) had had diarrhea for four days. He finally got an appointment at Banfield for the dog to be seen.My friend was traveling from downtown DC, and there was a lot of traffic. They have a 15 minute grace period but he was 17 minutes late. Two minutes past their 15 minute grace. Even though the dog was very old and sick, and there was no one in the waiting room, the vet REFUSED to see him. They didn't ask him to wait they just refuse to see him. It was possible the dog could have been dehydrated from 4 days with diarrhea, and obviously he was sick and needed to see the doctor. I would never use a clinic the treated any dog this way. Let alone a dog that has been going there for over 10 years! Be aware, be very aware.

Took my three pets to this place . Mistake . They one said my cat was pregnant ( she isn’t ) . After letting the doctor know my cat is only 6 months old and have never been outside . She proceeded to say she’s been a doctor for over 30 years and is 99% sure she is right with an awful attitude . We took her somewhere and she isn’t pregnant . They kept her in a small carry on bag for over 8 hours instead of calling us to pick her up ( she was in there to get her shots ) . Next they said my dog has a dry eye and needs eye drops , when I asked for them they said they couldn’t do anything even though they informed me over the phone they could , also forgot the food card till I reminded the doctor . Now my small dog who is just three months old , is too skinny ? Awful service from the doctor with such a ridiculous price . DO NOT recommend .

First of all the phone is always not working, they never answered, Dr Sanders wanted to give my dog medicine for the pain and to relax him, because she tried to draw blood from my dog and she pinch him many times, my dog came out of this place shaking and very nervous.

Doctor sanders took good care of my dog who had a slipped disc. I trust her and the nurses, they work with love.Front desk Zakar is always there to help.I know it takes forever for them sometimes to answer the phone but once they do, your pet is in good caring loving hands, so thank you ??

Made an appointment for my dog in-person, and somehow the day of the appointment, there’s nothing in their system. Ridiculous. I gave the lady all this information just for her not to click save? There’s nothing for another month and my dog has issues that need to be solved now. Disappointing, unprofessional, frustrating. I will not be bringing my dog here.

I’ve been coming to Banfield for 4 years bringing my grandpa Bella, we have always been treated with courtesy and professionalism. And I’ve developed a great relationship with the doctor and staff. And when I bring Bella she usually little frightened but when she leaves of course she’s happy to see me and she treats your staff like she’s known them forever.

Not the best one in the area. They keep the pets in a cage for hours just for one vaccine... I've changed my vet because even when i needed info on how my pet did during the wellness check in and some other regular visits the vet wouldn't say anything... Just the front desk associate would say whatever she may think is appropriate... Went to a local vet where they actually let me in with my pet.

We signed up for a plan and was told how economically sound it was and it did appear that way. That is until you needed to use it. The first couple of appointments went well then it started to be appointments 2 months out. We called around to neighboring Banfield locations and were told that we'd have to pay a price for a service that was covered by our plan!! We decided to cancel the plan and upon doing so the representative told us that the blood work was INDEED covered. She was very patient with us but we were just done. A company that tries to get you for an additional $190 is not one that we want to service our pet. We gave 2 stars because the staff at the hospital was very kind and pet friendly.

I had tried to get an appointment for two months only to be told they were booked up. Finally I was able to get an appointment, but on the day Banfield staff contacted me to say they were overbooked. Not only that, but they were moving my appointment another month. How is a pet supposed to get care in this way? After my dismay I rescheduled for the following month. Yet again I was told on the day of the appointment that the location was overbooked and they wanted to reschedule for another month. After finally going into the location, four months later from whence I started, I was told that I needed to wait for the next available tech. But the location closed by the time the technician was available and I was unable to reschedule within a reasonable period. Absolute bull.
