Nice place, clean. Pool, but no hot tub. Breakfast not included. But hot breakfast was available. Easy on and off highway. Easy walk to The Jetty (restaurant) for dinner and drinks. Other places also around. Booked the room online which was a mistake, was actually Priceline which charged me almost $50.00 in fees and taxes, so no real savings after all. Plus I didn't get Hilton points. Disappointed with Priceline. Didn't even know I wasn't on the Hilton app. Learned my lesson.Walkability: Restaurants close by. Has a 'restaurant' on premise, but no crab on the menu. Breakfast not included.

Kelly and John are AMAZING! I had my wedding in Kent Island and appreciate all of their hard work and kindness for my guests and after my wedding. Their extra acts of kindness will be something that I will always hold dear in my heart when I think of my wedding.

We have stayed in each of the 4 hotels in the area. This hotel is our favorite. So clean. So taken care of. It looks like a new hotel but we were told it is 20 yrs.old. The shower is great. Great water pressure and water was so hot and great. Room was decorated beautifully. 2 large screen tvs. For two football games!!.Again very impressed by the upkeep on this hotel.Safety: We feel very safe in the area.Walkability: There are atleast 5 restaurants with in walking dist

Wow.... This is going to be a LONG review. From the top .... Unloaded at the front door to check in and was informed that the elevators are all the way down the hall toward the back of the building and the only entrace is the front door. Okay?!?! Got everything upstairs for an extended stay and the room smelled like either their vacuum cleaner really needed to be cleaned or someone just sat in this room and smoked.... a lot. (Wish there was scratch and sniff available here.) Had to open the balcony door fully to air out the room. (in 40 degree weather mind you). The duvet looked like it got in a fight with a cat and the cat won. The bathroom had toilet paper sitting in the toilet! Lovely!! Got downstairs to drop off the luggage cart and move the vehicle only to be told that they did not have any handicap spots because they were fixing the roof. (The contractor parked crosswise in every handicap spot!) Seeing that I am temporarily disabled and can not walk long distances (and have the placard to prove it) this is a huge inconvenience. I ask about the smell in the room and was told they could send me up a can of air freshener of which I never got. (I made a quick stop to the local Bath and Body and plugged in a wallflower after the room aired for 5 hours!) Upon returning to the room for the evening, the smell being much better, I decided to get a drink out of the soda machine and grab a quick shower. Of course it wasn't that smooth. There was absolutely no conditioner and I have long hair, so now I also had big tangles to get out which was no fun. Went to get a drink of my 20 oz, $3 soda only to see it had expired. At least the front desk swapped it out, but only gave me a 12 oz can...... what a trade! At least it wasn't expired I guess. I DO NOT STAY AT HILTONS. This is a prime example as to why. If there was a Marriott nearby that would not put me having to travel back and forth over that crazy Bay Bridge, that is where I would be. This took too much money, time, energy and was a true disappointment. The really sad thing.... this was day 1 of a 5 day stay!!!!!

Stayed in off season. The place is below Hilton standards. Room amenities have not been update like most Hilton properties. Hotel is clean, well enough. I'm the room tv remote didn't work. Staff couldn't figure it out. We just gave up. Shower head will rip your skin off with they pressure. Linens were dingy and old. On plus side - nice location even on a cold weekend. Boats right outside the balcony, restaurants in walking distance. Not horrible, but for the price there are better places in the area.

the most helpful, efficient and genuine staff. get the rooms with the balcony for sunrise - beautiful way to star the day and great way to see the moon rise as well.Linens and rugs need a mini upgrade.

Walked into this lovely crime scene of a hotel room after checking in at this location for a recent wedding. I travel often for work and stay in hotels on a regular basis. That said, I’ve never experienced anything even remotely close to this. After alerting the staff of the situation around 5pm, they decided to have us move rooms at 11:30pm after returning from the rehearsal without any notice or choice in that moment. There was zero enhanced room accommodation or credit toward the stay afterward. Keep in mind, the cost was close to $1,000 for 2 nights that weekend due to the monopoly this hotel has on the area and very few options nearby. When I then requested the bill forgiven, the GM offered me an insignificant amount toward another Hilton stay. Quite the slap in the face given the circumstances. This overall experience further solidified my continued loyalty and Platinum Elite status to Marriott.

great location but very high price for one night and nothing was extraordinary vs other Hilton Gardens I have been to. We were there for a wedding so many rooms were booked Others did not pay as much as I did. Hindsight I should’ve checked other nearby hotelsNearby activities: Jetty is a great restaurant; excellent food, great prices and Waitress was outstanding

Edited to reflect update. Housekeeping issue was misunderstanding. If we could pay for the value we're getting, it might be half the actual room rate. Put here by insurance company after fire in our home. Water view is beautiful; being steps from an outdoor bar, not so much. Website said breakfast was included, until I called Hilton, who told them to update it since it no longer is. Bed and pillows very uncomfortable. Not sure why they'd get rid of dressers and just have cabinets. Paid the $17 for breakfast buffet Saturday morning; regretted it. We've had better stays at much lower tier hotels, and breakfast was *included* there. The ladies we've encountered at the desk are wonderful, but there doesn't seem to be any management or direction.BEWARE- check your credit card regularly and make sure they give you an itemized bill. "I'll email receipt later", which I've heard them say to multiple guests, sounds like something you'd red flag as a scam. Charging $150 "hold" to our card "just in case" we have incidentals?!?!? And conveniently there never seems to be anyone here that can discuss billing issues.

Great hotel. Loved the balcony of the room we had. Loved the EV charging. Lack of free breakfast disappointing. Front desk lady didn’t give good directions to the hiking trail (they said it’s at the Best Western, when in fact it’s well past the BW). They need a better sidewalk to get to the local restaurants nearby - we had to walk on the street for a bit to get over to the restaurants.

Before getting to any complaints, I need to note that the staff did everything they could to make up for all of the hiccups that got in our way. Especially the night crew. The staff gets 5 stars for working with what they are provided with. They were great.Management is seriously lacking. They are lucky to have the employees that they do working for them. The hotel would absolutely fall apart without them. ALL of our problems stemmed from incompetent management of the hotel, at the higher levels. So the hotel gets 2 stars for services. But not because of the staff. This location does NOT have a Jacuzzi next to the pool. They had some kind of Renovations, then sealed it up, and decided that that was permanent. There is a table insteaand set of chairs on top of where the hot tub used to be.Breakfast is NOT included with the stay, if you want breakfast you have to pay extra. Upper management/corporate does NOT pay their staff enough to maintain abasic staffing level. If one person calls out in the kitchen, there's not a second person there to make any food. Retaining kitchen staff, means you can charge guests for the food ,serve the guests, and make profits for the owner. There's no complimentary toothpaste so bring your own or pay for it at the front desk.In the past 24 hours I only saw between 1 and 0 luggage carts in the lobby. Maybe the cleaning staff has yet to find them, maybe there's just a one. Several other guests noted the same issue. The hotel wasn't very busy. There are a lot of issues with the digital keys. If you're using a digital key make sure it works. If it doesn't turn off your Bluetooth, close the Hilton app. Turn on Bluetooth, and reopen the app. If it still doesn't work ask the hotel desk to resync it. If it doesn't work again, rinse and repeat until it does, and or get a physical copy.Despite all of that, the location is great. The jetty next door was excellent. Frix's Fire Grill is 10/10 for food as well and is near by. Once again, shout out to the staff for running the place the best they can.

I have stayed here multiple times and would highly recommend this hotel. The customer service is amazing and the rooms are nice and clean. There are 5-6 restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is surrounded by water and has benches along the brick boardwalk. It really is a beautiful property. I would highly recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, customer service and natures outdoor beauty.

RUN. DO NOT stay here. Front staff and management just like other reviews, horrible. Even you booked a water view room, you were not guaranteed the room you booked which was the whole point of the stay. BLOOD on the bedsheet. Dirty bathroom. Was told even we booked the water view room but you didn’t pick your own room “with the app” within 24 hours, you were just gonna get the parking lot view UNLESS you willing to pay for an upgrade. Overall experience, just stay away. To management/owner, no need to reply with your apology. It’s literally just the principle, you get what you book. Very easy doesn’t matter if you use Hilton Honors, Friend & Family or Employees Rate. If you can’t commit to that, don’t release the room in the system. If you can’t deliver that, then you also don’t deserve any future businesses. I’ve have stayed here for years and by far the worst hotel experience this recent staying.

Would not allow us to check in 10 minutes early, and when we finally again showed up for our check in time of 3pm, the room was still not ready. Management was not very nice about it, and wouldn't even check in on the room to see if ready. Was just met with a firm "no". Not friendly staff
