“I've heard a lot about this place from my friends. I'm fairly new to this area and wanted to give this place a try before entrusting all of my vehicles to them. This is just my initial impression and I'll keep updating my comment with each service. I took my Chrysler 300 for oil/filter change, tire rotation which I had mentioned through their online appointment comments section.
They definitely did what I had asked for and made sure the vehicle was returned to me without any visible marks or scratches. They constantly communicated through text prior to my appointment and kept reminding me about it which was great.
On the day of, when I went in for the appointment, based on my past great experiences with other workshops, I had expected them to explain clearly what would be done when I dropped my car with them. The responses came in quite short and I had to literally ask them what they would do. It isn't a big deal, as I'm not there to exchange pleasantries. But, as a customer it would help me feel comfortable with entrusting my vehicle to them. That would be my suggestion moving forward. They were very courteous when I went to pick up the car. Again, I had to ask them what they did even though it may be unnecessary for them to explain. Maybe that's just me trying to be obsessed with clear communication or my involuntary expectation based on their prompt text communication prior to the appointment. One other suggestion would be the speed of service. I've never had to wait almost a whole day just for oil/filter change with tire rotation. I dropped my vehicle around 8am and only heard back around 4pm. Needless to say, these are minor nitpicky concerns.
POSITIVES: They did a thorough inspection of the car and suggested additional items that may need attention soon. I was even sent a link with a picture and description by the mechanic who serviced the vehicle. MUCH APPRECIATED.
Overall, it was a good experience and I feel I could trust my vehicles with Town and Country Auto Repair in Eldersburg. Thank you!”
“Earlier this month I brought my 2008 four runner in for a tire sensor light being on! They looked at all of them and reset them.
Say on the way to Fredrick the light came back on. I took. It back and made another appointment for Thursday. The owner quoted me a price and a very young mechanic came out and showed be which ones needed to be replaced . The owner kept coming it and apologizing for how long it was taking . Yes it took a couple hours but the light is out and we drove to Myrtle Beach with no issues !
I will taking all of our vehicles to Mt Airy Motors! Everyone I dealt with nice and very kind especially the owner.

“What a great experience at SB Automotive! I was referred here from a friend and am thankful to have found this place. They brought my car back right away and got me out of there in a reasonable amount of time given that I needed my front brakes replaced and an oil change. They were friendly and honest and not only answered my questions but explained everything that needed to be done in great detail AND explained things to watch out for later. I didn't feel like I being forced to get things I didn't need done and it was less expensive than similar services at one of the chain places. That's a bonus! I will be bringing my car back here for sure.”

“I cannot recommend Mt. Airy Service Center enough!! Our 2017 Chevy had a few warnings pop up a few days before traveling. Admittedly Mt. Airy Service Center was not my first call… I called 2 dealerships, one with appointments booking over a week out, another didn’t pick up the phone. Third times the charm - I called the Mt Airy service center and spoke with Matt. He immediately got us in for an appointment, walked me through estimated costs and explained all recommended repairs without being pushy or trying to sell extra services. Knowing my husband is handy he offered suggestions for a few minor maintenances we could do on our own to save costs. I felt like they were genuine people who cared about getting you safely on the road versus just trying to make a buck. My car was repaired within 24 hours and back on the road thanks to these guys! Next time you need service or repairs, consider the smaller business, like Mt. Airy service center!!!”
