“Abby is a very anxious 12 year old Beagle mix who has been seeing Dr. Ruth on most visits. She is always very thorough in her exams and conscientious about Abby's anxiety. The vet tech Michael was friendly and gentle with Abby as well. I have never in 12 years had a bad experience at Veterinary Housecall Service. Keep up the great work!!”
“The visit was fine. I was able to get an additional Simpatico Trio tablet for September since we will be on vacation. However, you need to sharpen or get a new nail trimmer because Tinker Bells claws are very rough and are scratching my arms.”

“Dr. Steere is an absolutely fantastic vet for our lab and cat. She goes above and beyond in her care of our pet family. She has guided us on our allergy treatment of our lab through multiple treatment options. Dr. Steere clearly relays the pros and cons of every medical decision she makes to us.
It is also very evident that she loves what she does and our pets love her back! My wife and I joke that we wish Dr. Steere was our medical doctor due to the patient care she exhibits.”

“Dogs and Cats Emergency & Specialty took great care of my cat, who was first there for an emergency and then needed a preventative surgery. The doctors called me daily (and sometimes twice a day) to update me on my cat’s status during his stay. They also sent doctors’ notes daily to me and our regular vet via email, even without me asking them to do so. They were also clear upfront on what the total cost might be. And even after a discharge, a staff sent a follow-up email to check how my cat’s doing. Overall, I had a great experience, and I think my cat did too, considering the circumstances. I would recommend this place to other pet owners.”

The veterinarians are able to explain problems that surface and what treatment options are available. We highly recommend this practice.”
“I was charged for a hygiene cut that was not done. I immediately called back to inform and they stated they were going to credit me for the $55. I have not received the email to verify the credit.”

“It was our first visit here. Our dog's back legs suddenly gave out. They triaged him immediately upon arrival but then there was a 6-8hr wait to see the doctor .Yikes. We stayed and made the best of the situation. They gave him meds to keep him comfortable. I sent my son to the store to get a crate as our dog would not endure sitting there for several hours in my lap. Finally got in with the doctor and was given our options on how to take care of our dog. Over all a good experience, just didn't like how long it took”

“I was walking my dog in the park after hours and a little miniature bull terrier came up to us, with no collar or leash. I could tell the little dog was well cared for and called the SPCA for guidance. I was directed to take the dog home and someone from their staff would come to my home that evening and pick up the dog. The person was not certain of the exact pick up time but the dog would get picked up. About an hour went by and I received a call that the owner had called to see if anyone had reported finding the dog. To make a long story short, the owner was a neighbor, stopped by my house and retrieved his beautiful little dog. Just a reminder of how grateful I am that we have a centralized resource to help us with all facets of animal care in the county.”
“I had a great experience during my visit with my pet. Dr. Tibbs was very knowledgeable and answered my thousands of questions. My cat was difficult during the visit, but Dr. Tibbs and Brandon were able to handle her. Brandon was very comforting to my cat because she was very afraid. Michelle who was at the front desk was very friendly and also answered all question asked. Overall, it was a great visit with a knowledgeable and friendly staff.”
“Will they always be able to fit you in last minute? No. But you will get unbelievable care for your pets here, with so much compassion and love from everyone (receptionist/office manager, vet techs, and vets-- all softies!). Really really reasonable pricing with no upselling. Dr Kirkendall is my favorite vet of all time, and she has returned my calls at all hours because she CARES about her "babies."”

“My two puppies, Lime and Lulu, always visit Dr. Holden. All staff adore our babies and take a good care of them. Dr. Holden is very professional and took a very good care of them. Our dogs got neutered and fixed by Dr. Holden and recovered very well. They love visiting the vet and always get yummy treats. Lime and Lulu will always go to Severn Square Vet. :)”
“THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!! Dr. Fruges and the staff are had my Bru feeling better within the hour we arrived!! THEYRE AMAZING... The compassion and concern for my pet melted my heart.. After having visited another ER a day before.. my dog wasn't feeling any better. I called Lynn Animal Hospital in distress. They returned my call within 10 minutes and gave us an appointment.Its the first place that I've been too that's not concerned with the financial part ,they have your pets health and well being as the priority!! Let's just say my dog is feeling much better.. and he's eating. He's slowly getting back to his old self. THANK YOU !! Bru now has a new home!!”

He took my dog within the first 10 minutes of being there, assessed her, gave her a shot to relive her itching and explained everything step by step. He was clear on all the meds needed and I didn't mind paying the price as I received wonderful service for my dog Nala. Bring your dog here for personal service. They are wonderful here and I really appreciated their staff helping me get her cone on her head lol!”
“Updating this review. The staff and management reached out. As mentioned before I was late, but upset due to the inflexible nature of the situation. They have been understanding and discussed their challenges in detail. I have (probably exhaustively) explained my issues with some of their procedures. But I am happy with the adjustments made and appreciate the staffs efforts. So am adjusting my review.
Been a client of this vet office for nearly 30 years. Since the new leadership has taken over, the personal care has been dramatically reduced. After trying to get a allergy treatment for my dog for months and trying to get them to order it. On the day to pick up the meds and be instructed on the meds use I was 16 minutes late due to traffic. Was called as I parked that they canceled my appointment and I shouldn't bother walking in.”
