Marklin’s Pomeranians is the absolute best place to purchase a Pomeranian fur baby! Our beautiful Pom is highly intelligent, energetic, sweet, and has the most amazing personality. We highly recommend!

Was going to try Marklin’s, however, website states “we will not sell to families with children under 10 years old, period so please do not ask” it’s the period for me lol plus adding please does not make it professional or polite. With two children under ten and multiple of pets I do find it interesting that a breeder will reject families with small children and doesn’t provide an explanation, just a PERIOD lol.

I couldn’t be happier with my experience at Marklin’s Pomeranians! We are so enamored with our beautiful baby pup, who came to us healthy, clean, happy, and incredibly well-behaved. She came to us with a certificate of health from the vet, up-to-date medical history/shot records, food and blankets, as well as AKC registration papers and photos of her gorgeous mother and father. Mary Marklin, who has been doing this for over four decades, has a clear wealth of knowledge on breeding and raising Pomeranians and has been incredibly helpful in answering all of our questions. You can really tell that Marklin’s Pomeranians truly cares about the breed and that they take excellent care of their dogs and puppies. The facilities are lovely, welcoming, and sparkling clean, so you know the puppies are coming to you from a great place. If you are looking for a wonderful, fluffy addition to your family, look no further!

Mary is very professional and knowledgeable. We bought our puppy from Mary and we are extremely happy with our new pup. I would recommend her to anyone who wants a pom. She has been very helpful with any and all of our questions and when we are ready for another pup I will definitely be calling Mary.

I really hate to post this review, but I unfortunately I had a very negative experience with this breeder in November 2021.At first, Mary was nice and responsive in our email correspondence. This changed after I mailed my $500 deposit for a puppy from Apple and Halo’s litter. I was told that I would be able to choose my pup from the 2 available males. Later, I was told this wasn’t the case — apparently, Mary received someone else’s deposit before mine. This is reasonable (letting customers choose pups based on the order of the deposits received) but the issue is that it was NEVER communicated to me.I live several states and hours away from MD, so I relied on photos to see my future pup. Apparently, Mary was sending me photos of the WRONG dog. I couldn’t believe it!But my biggest issue was that she became quit rude and abrasive in her emails. IMHO I think this is a highly inappropriate manner to treat a customer who is prepared to hand over $3k to you.I became VERY uncomfortable with the situation, and respectfully requested and refund of half of my deposit. Given all of the misinformation and miscommunication, I felt that this was a reasonable request because I was never in possession of a puppy. However, Mary refused. To her credit, as the puppies were approaching 8 weeks old, Mary said that I could choose the pup I wanted (which I found a little odd … what about the other person who already selected their pup?). However, at this point I had already made the decision to work with a different breeder. For the same amount of money, I now have a gorgeous pup from Champion bloodlines. AKC registration, microchip, and a one-year health guarantee were included.Perhaps your experience will be fine if you’re local to MD. However, for people who live outside of that area, I really cannot recommend this breeder.

Awful woman who runs the place. Rude and very unpleasant. Do not deal with her. She only wants your money and will take no responsibility if there is any problem with the dog. Total rip-off. Should be put out of business.

We had a perfect experience and found the perfect new member to our faimily. Mary knows pomeranians and set us up nicely. She's answered some minor questions quickly. Oup pup is the easiest dog we've ever had in our home. She loves other dogs in the extended family and all people. She has a special bond with each person in our family of 5. She is playful smart, friendly. I beleive the breeder knows her tempements and personalities well. She wants our current pup to come meet her before we get a second one in the future to make sure she'd be compatible (which she would as she loves every human and dog fo far.) I will recommend this breeder to others and go to her again when the time comes.

Stay as far away from this place as you can. They completely ripped-off my family. They sold us a dog with a lame back leg which we were unaware of until we got her home. At first we thought might be a puppy thing (i.e. that it just liked keeping at one leg a bit off the ground), but after examination by a vet, turns out to be a serious problem which will be very expensive to fix. My husband said he wanted to speak to his lawyer about the contract conditions. At that point, Mary, the owner, turned hostile and rude in dealing with us. Dreadful people with highly unethical business practices. A terrible experience which I wouldn't wish on anyone.
