One vendor for fresh vegetables, and he admits he does not grow them and does not give many specifics about where they came from. I bought four too-perfect tomatoes, and they were terrible - clearly not freshly picked from a real local farm. They were supermarket quality at best.

The Glenn Dale Farmers Market was great! This market is every Saturday from 9am - 2pm. The amount of vendors vary, but it's a great local spot with a lot of great quality products and friendly, warm folks.Vendors include two food trucks: Marcello's Shrimp & Fish Fry and Lo's BBQ; Jim's produce with a large variety of fresh produce, several art vendors with jewelery, canvas paintings, wreaths and more; a gourmet brownie bar stand w/ gluten free options; Real Time, a pain management product vendor; C&E Farms with fresh herbs and a variety of other produce; and Herbalicious with herb-infused gourmet cooking and mixology products, fresh herbs, and nursery garden plants. This market is on the Marietta House property and a great, pet friendly and family friendly venue to just walk around and enjoy! A group of young kids were having a play date at the market having the time of their lives!

The market is still here though smaller. Still have one food truck with a beef theme. I just got fresh blueberries , strawberries, and green beans. The fruit is tasty fresh. Beans will be used for dinner. Note, parking can be tight. Cars move in and out fairly quickly. Stop by.

Great produce and baked goods. While we didn't get any bbq this trip, it smelled delicious and are planning on getting some next time. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Yes, it is small. My first impression was as sour as the couple of reviewers below who gave it two stars. But I gave this market another chance and Ive come to love it. There is one farmer who is there every week and apparently has been there for years - you can always count on that stand. Recently another produce vendor has started coming regularly - those guys appear to be sourcing from local farms rather than growing it themselves and that's fine by me. The other booths can be a mix of baked goods, crafts, and prepared food. If the dudes selling bbq are there, I recommend you try it out. I promise it is worth every penny. Once youve completed your shopping, take a quick stroll around the grounds of the marietta house. Maybe pick up a few of the black walnuts the trees on the property are dropping for free. After chatting with some vendors and some residents, Ive learned that this market used to be much bigger but it has shrunk over the years. While I wish this market was larger, I figure the best way to achieve that is by shopping there regularly rather than seeking out a bigger market in a neighboring area.

The produce and fresh meat and poultry are very good. It’s nice to meet the people who actually produce the food we eat. Friendly, helpful, and cost-effective.

I went there Saturday morning and was shocked how small it was. Four vendors, really nothing special. If you have to drive for more than 15 minutes to get there, don't bother. There are other farmers markets that are much better.
