“My wife and I have been clients of Town & Country Animal Clinic in Olney for a few years and are so pleased with their excellent care and service. Yesterday, after much agonizing, we took our beloved Teddy (Wheaten Terrier - 14 years) for a consultation with Dr. Wilmot before having him put down. I called for an appointment yesterday morning and they were completely booked for the week but the very competent and caring lady on the phone (Christina, I believe) said she would check with the vets on duty and call me back, which she did a few minutes later. I arrived at 11:45 and put in a room with my dog until the vet came in and spent a lot of time speaking with me and my son before we collectively arrived at the decision to put him down. I am so grateful and appreciative for their caring service, from start to finish. Thank you!”

“We love the care our dogs get at Marriottsville Animal Hospital. Admittedly, our dogs are high maintenance (we have a 15-year old special needs dog with a lot of health issues) and they have always been compassionate, responsive, and practical. Dr. Pinkham is excellent and we would recommend him and his practice to anyone looking for veterinary care.”

“Genuinely never had a vet who was so thorough with answering questions & making us feel at ease. We have 2 cats that see Dr. Rapp, one of our fur babies is very friendly while the other is extremely "spicy". Dr. Rapp is incredibly patient, kind, and does not make us feel rushed at all. He utilizes his computer to show us food puzzles, litter additives, and smart scales/feeders to match our cat's needs. Our youngest was in for FLUTD and he answered what was probably 25+ questions I had to calm my nerves and ensured we felt confident in next steps. We appreciate his kindness & professionalism - if you have felines Bruno & Cannoli recommend Dr. Rapp!”
“Moved to CC in 2015 and immediately found Carrolltown Vet. I would give more stars but 5 is the max!! Dr Reiter and crew are OUTSTANDING. We had to put our 13 year old down today. As hard as it always is Carrolltown Vet went out of their way to make it a peaceful process. Thanks as always and we’ll see you soon.”

“I've been going to the same vet for 45 years (was originally Ellicott City Veterinary Clinic with Dr. Meyers) since I was 6 years old. It has moved, changed ownership, and so on. But, I wouldn't take my cats anywhere else. The vets and staff are there for us when we need them. I know a LOT about animals so sometimes my thoughts will clash with theirs but they never force me to do anything. Yes, they do cost more than some other vets which is why I now have insurance for the cats using Manypets. I just wish they would also see my guinea pigs.”

“I was looking at past reviews and I can see why they had Dr. Shah join the team. It seems to me that their issue was being short staffed. I followed Dr. Shah from his previous place of employment (Glen Burnie Animal Hospital)... I will follow Dr. Shah wherever he goes... Yes, it sucks driving 45 minutes to get to this Vet from my house but soooooooo worth it. Since you don't know anything about me ... I love any animal and I do everything I can to help any animal but my in-home pets are my entire world... I have a kitty who is healthy, built like a horse and is strong as hell... I also have a 14 year old teacup, applehead Chihuahua. She is the reason I am so detailed on this review. I know there are other pet owners similar to me when it comes to their baby and reviews are EVERYTHING. My dog is hand fed piece by piece, carried around in a robe and even gets an umbrella held over her when it rains to drop the big ol rain drops from hitting her little head ... Pray for us because my husband and I are her biggest enablers and she knows we serve her every need and want and takes advantage of it... She has to get her anal glands "expressed/emptied" and you have a Vet expressed/emptied "internally" compared to a place like petco that can empty them by attempting to do it "externally" where they just squeeze each one from the outside of her booty but expressing them externally does not do it correctly. I have seen Dr. Shah once a month for the past 7 years now which is when I first moved here. I would do anything for this dog... I am the pickiest, aggressive, protective owner when it is in regards to anything that concerns my baby girl. She has had 3 teeth removed two times in the past and once was by Dr. Shah but she received a total mouth extraction by a referral directly from Dr. Shah. He didn't want do it due to the high risk with her being 14 years old, how small she is and because of the difficulty there would be to get one particular tooth out. I had never been so scared in my life like I was when she got her total tooth extraction done (occurred on my birthday 08/11/2023) but I had went through with it because of how much I trust and respect Dr. Shah's judgement/opinion. He has never "sugar coated" anything when it comes to my animals. The staff are great at Bethany Centennial Animal Hospital... little expensive but worth it. Highly recommend Dr. Shah for your Veterinarian but I don't have experience with any of the other vets at the location. Regardless, I think people who are reading these the older negative reviews should still give this place a chance because if they can make me happy, anyone should be happy lol.”

Dr. King takes his time with your furry family members and makes sure that all your questions are answered. Gunta, Joann, the techs and team know you by name and always have a smile. So appreciate all of them.”
“Have been a client of VCA Columbia Animal Hospital at Hickory RIdge for over a year now. Turns out several of my dog training friends also go to Dr. Kelso as their veterinarian. She is very experienced, knowledgeable, listens to all my questions and concerns, and is a wonderful combination of expertise and warmth. I am a retired physician so I have lots of questions. Dr. Kelso is patient and allows me to ask questions of the treatment plan so that we can come to something that we are both comfortable with. Both my rescue mixes compete in various dog sports and Dr. Kelso understands the demands of that, being a competitive handler herself. Completely satisfied and pleased with Dr. Kelso as our primary vet. Saw Dr. Moldenhauer for an emergency allergic reaction visit and she was reassuring and took good care of my dog. The support staff and the front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this practice.”
“I took my newly adopted kitty here for her post adoption wellness exam. The overall experience was wonderful. The facility is clean, bright, and comfortable. Check-in was seamless, and Chickadee's checkup went very well. Everyone here is super friendly and helpful. Dr. Wenzel took time to answer all my questions and offered a lot of great info/care tips. Would love to keep going here for primary care for Chicka, but it is a great deal of a distance from where I live ? and wish they were closer. I will definitely keep this place in mind as an alternative.”
