Please, Please don’t get any lashes done by “SOPHIA” at this shop. They use glue that will irritate your eyes. My eyes has been burning for over a day. I called to talk to a manager he side with his technician. Stating on the camera that she did what she supposed to do. She has no experience with lashes. They have hidden charges and they overcharge you for lashes. I was told the lashes were going to be $40 when I left my bill end up being $62. Please watch out for the false advertising.

Service was really good and the staff was very nice. I had pedicure and the tech was very gentle. I will definitely return and get my gel manicure as well.

First time going to this nail place. I haven’t gotten my nails done since February 2020 as I usually do them my myself. I’m very particular about the quality of someone else’s polishing skills. The service was a little slow. Had to wait in the pedicure chair for about 15 minutes before being serviced. The pedicure was relaxing and lasted a good amount of time. I am disappointed however with the lack of polish used on my toes. It’s hard to really look at my toes while in the chair, so of course I inspected them when I got home. The polish and top coat barely covers the nail on my big toes, which means the polish won’t last long. Now that all of the oils have dried up, my cuticles don’t look as clean as they did while in the chair. It was a nice treat but I think I would rather continue doing my own pedicure as I’ve done over the past few years.

This place is not SANITARY at all. I watched them cut different customers nails with the same set of nail cutters. Gross! The woman tried to cut my nails as well with a used nail clipper. I told the technician that I wanted her to open up a new pack. She went to find a new set of clippers and told me “ I put alcohol on this one”. Also, my station was filthy. Nail clippings from the previous customer staring me in the face and the technician didn’t even bother to remove it. (Photos attached) LADIES you deserve more, you deserve a spa that is truly a spa not a façade located in a majority black and brown community intended to use unhealthy and unsafe products/practices, all while charging downtown DC prices.

I never have any problems when I go! The gentleman at the front desk greets me by name. MiMi always does an amazing job. I just love her pedicures. Her hands are magical.

I usually go there for my pedicure and Jenn is my favorite. I am writing this review based on how rude Mimi was when I asked to get full set. I don’t usually get my nails done but decided to get full-set as I have an event coming up. First she was trying to make me get gelx I told her no I don’t want to and immediately her face and attitude changed. Then I requested if she could do one nail as french so I can see how the color looks before I decide if I want to get French nails or full color. Omg she was so rude she was like we can’t really do that you need to decide what you want and was rushing me. After seeing her like that I just wanted to leave. Idk what happened this is her job, I was just so disappointed I ended up getting full color because I was worried if I ask for anything else she will snap. I don’t think Ill be going there anymore.

Thanks Lisa for a quick and professional fill in. Paid a reasonable price to include repair of 3 chipped nails and extra design.I will be back in a couple of weeks. Easy parking. No hassle.

So I’ve gone here multiple times stopped because there was always a miscommunication issue due to them not understanding English and while the service is nice I’ve never left with what I asked for but it was always decent. I stopped going because I found someone who can understand and does them exactly. I came today because she was unavailable this week. I was running behind my problem not theirs I do business so I completely understand if they couldn’t do it and this was my first time ever being late since going here. My appointment was at 10 I spoke to someone at 10:04 to see if they could still accommodate me and my appointment she said fine but complained about time so I asked to not complicate her service would it be easier for her if I went with a quicker service instead of the full set-and I expressed that I would pay for the original service due to the inconvenience. If they couldn’t do it no problem because that was my mishap not theirs ’s. Instead the nail tech gives attitude because she doesn’t understand what I’m asking. She keeps saying she could have took someone else so I kindly tell her she doesn’t have to do them and if someone else is available to do them I can go to them rather than sit with her attitude and misunderstanding or if they no longer want to service me no problem. I even said I could pay for the service and come back tomorrow for a full set if that would be better for her schedule which I’ll pay for as well. They keep saying we need to call the manager I tell them I don’t need one just a simple someone will or someone won’t but clearly they’re not understanding. Then my phone rings and it’s the manager who understands me perfectly when HE CALLS MY PHONE but has an attitude because of whatever his nail techs said to him. I’m literally trying to explain to him that they’re not understanding what I’m saying and he tells me he doesn’t want to go back and forth after HE CALLED ME. He keeps saying I’m changing the service when I’m trying to tell him if time is her issue I’ll go with a quicker service and still pay for my original. But since they don’t understand what I’m saying they keep saying I’m asking for a longer service. There never was an intention to listen to what I had to say when someone calls you with attitude so why call. If I’m explaining something politely and you tell me you don’t want to go back and forth please don’t waste a phone call or expect me to even want to hold a conversation with you. They’re clearly used to people arguing or being argumentative because I was not. I even expressed that I would make an appointment at a later date if need be. As someone who does business I would never treat a customer this way especially someone who is consistent and never had any issues things happen set your boundaries but don’t be rude. Have staff that can comprehend and speak English so that you don’t have miscommunication issues with the clientele that you’re trying to reach that’s number one.So they respond and clearly didn’t read the complaint with the lack luster reply and not addressing what happened. I would have preferred my service been cancelled instead of being treated as if something derogatory was done. The ladies in this shop have bad energy from the jump when you walk in you feel like you’re not even wanted there. There is a nail salon right across from the Wegmans that has the best customer service it’s called Spa 1 if I recall correctly.

I paid $127 and got my nails done exactly 2 weeks ago. My nails started lifting earlier than I have experienced with other nail salons but I went in for a fill in anyways. When I got there I was told many of my nails needed to be replaced. I asked why so many nails would need to be replaced so quickly and was told they did a good job as long as my nail didn’t pop off. They also wanted to charge $5 for each nail they needed to replace which at that point would’ve been more than a full set. I’ve never experienced nails coming up like that in two weeks and Ive been getting my nails done over 20 years. There quality is very low and I don’t suggest you spend your money here. It seems they don’t do a good job so you can spend more replacing nails when you come back. I never write bad reviews but their quality and customer service was really appalling.Services: Nail extensions
