“Had no idea this store existed (to be fair, I rarely venture to Eastern Market and had not been south of F St in years) but I am so happy it does. A great selection of books from every genre. Heavy focus on LGBTQ+ authors and stories but they don’t limit themselves to that at all. And the employees are very kind and helpful to boot.”

“Excellent bookstore! Great selection of national bestsellers, local books, cards and stationary. There are a lot of personal recommendations made by bookstore staff which I love to see! You can buy wine, beer (many local) and cider as well as coffee drinks to hold as you wander around the store or work from their long communal table. They also have a bar where people were working on their laptops.”

“(Translated by Google) Since I moved to the United States, I have asked the Lord for a bookstore that had Christian content in Spanish. And I found the answer when connecting with Rincón Cristiano. Since then, the years have passed and more and more their service and products are of higher quality. May God always bless you and continue to be a light to this society. Blessings. ??✝️(Original)Desde que me trasladé a vivir a los Estados Unidos, le pedí al Señor una librería que tuviese contenido cristiano en español. Y la respuesta la encontré al conectar con Rincón Cristiano. Desde entonces, han pasado los años y cada vez más su servicio y productos son de mayor calidad. Que Dios los bendiga siempre y sigan siendo de luz a esta sociedad. Bendiciones. ??✝️”

“Bought a neighborhood map of Seattle from their shop in the downtown DC Christmas market and it's now happily hanging in our kitchen. Given how picky we are about art and how long it takes us to get art up, that's saying a lot. The style and colors are perfect and it's a great way to remember other parts of our lives. My only complaint is that they don't have more maps to buy. As somebody who lives in the burbs of DC (I know, judge all you want), I had to pick between DC proper or past cities I'd lived in. It would be really cool to have maps of some of the closer in burbs.”

“My kids LOVE this store. I'm so happy we don't have to drive far for such a commodity. They have a generous amount of toys for every age! Toys you can't find at other places. The book selections are vast. Plenty of books for my teenage son, my pre-schooler & myself. Starbucks Cafe is a bonus. Staff are friendly. We go here often & always have a pleasant experience. Add a few sitting areas, please!”

“Today I visited the Basilica of The National Shrine to look for gifts and to enjoy the beauty and serenity of this amazing temple. Of course I spent more time than I intended but it was well worth it. I found out that the gift shop opens at 9:00 am and closes at 5:00 pm. Between the shrine and the gift shop one can easily spend all day.”

“I love this bookstore. They always have an excellent selection. I also really love ordering an iced caramel macchiato with oat milk from the cafe and it’s one of the best in DMV! (I personally will go drive the distant just to get their coffee from them)”

“I remember passing this place when I was little and growing up. I took my daughter there a couple of times for mom and daughter time. She loved it so much. She loved the toys and the dress up so much. Great prices as well.”

“One of two Barnes and Noble in D.C. (the other is connected to Howard University), this one comes with a cafe, restrooms, a university book section and an area with other books like a small travel section.”

“Was cool, it wasn't badly busy as it could be on full semester days. This is a day during summer session. Services could be pretty slow cause the cashiers just take their time doing stuffs.”

“Absolutely the best place ever. With inflated prices, I would never even think of getting a book anywhere else. Certainly not through piracy, absolutely not, can you imagine being such a scurvy pirate that you would even *consider* piracy? If so, you need to eat some lemons.”
