“Update on the service that I received at the Glenarden branch of Navy Federal Credit Union. I received a call from the Branch Manager Michelle who wanted to reach out to me because I had sent a online complaint. The Manager wanted to know what happened with the member representative Aerial at the branch. I had explained that the member representative stated that she couldn't accept my $10 in coins for deposit and stated that they had to be wrapped. I pointed out that the $10 in coin consisted of $8 in quarters, $1.10 in nickels and .90 in dimes all of which could not be wrapped. The Manager stated that the member service representative said that I didn't want to give the employee the coin and had a change of heart. "This make no sense because I wouldn't drive out of my way to make a deposit and then have a change of heart and then make a complaint". Needless to say the Aerial lied to cover up her incompetence! . The Manager assured me that Navy Federal Credit Union does take coin that can not be wrapped and that the employee has been advised that she was in error for communicating the wrong information. I just wanted to Thank the Manager Michelle for addressing my concerns so quickly!!! .”

“The Exxon on Pennsylvania Avenue and Good Hope Road is good for gas, a few quick snacks, and auto repairs if you're in need of services. There is also an auto parts store on the premises.”

“Had a very pleasant experience. Wound up putting $$ in a CD. In a nice turn of events business checking is free for Veterans. Appreciate the courtesy and the place is modern and charming.”

“I initially wrote a review complaining about a wrong rate applied which really bothered me. Citibank reached out to me and fixed the issue. Thank goodness! Now I like them again”

“Overall I love the Pharmacy and the Pharmacists. But for an extremely unpleasant and costly problem with them I'd give them 5 Stars. I highly recommend them over the average Maryland pharmacy.”

“Updated review: The location is perfect. Parking is free. I noticed that Harris Teeter is more focused on how long customers park in the garage. I saw a person with a clipboard on a recent trip. With several options in a small radius (Safeway, Giant, Trader Joe's, Walmart) there are some items I don't need to purchase from Harris Teeter. HT has great sales to get you in the door. If you don't need two items when they are "Buy one get one free," you can get just one item for half price. The produce section is hit or miss. There are a few items that are locally grown. I like getting tomatoes and supporting local business. Some of my favorites plant based or meat free items aren't stocked anymore (Worthington, Loma Linda). Morning Star items are stocked (less variety and priced higher than Walmart & Safeway). There are interesting clearance items that are always placed so they are noticed after I have already checked out. The store has a nice seating area for grabbing something for lunch & resting a minute. The personal touch has left the store. Even at peak shopping hours, there will only be one or two registers open. More self check out registers were added. I like interacting with a person when I check out. The shopping carts disappear quickly. If you see one in the parking area, grab it.”
