Trusted to guide students of all ages since 1984, the Washington Conservatory of Music is one of only 15 nonprofit schools in the United States accredited by the Association for Community and PreCollegiate Arts Schools. Private music lessons children to adults - beginners to advanced - piano, strings, winds, brass, percussion, & voice. Music classes in Irish music, guitar, uke, voice, & early childhood music with professional highly credentialed faculty. Summer music camps for children. For over 20 years, we have provided free professional concerts featuring world-acclaimed musicians. Through our Tapestry Music Project, we bring free music lessons & classes to children of immigrant & low-income families in the communities where they reside.
