“Charming Henna (Priya and Avani) did an amazing job with our bridal, groom, and wedding party henna! Both Priya and Avani provided a variety of gorgeous designs. Priya was immediately responsive and came to our house to provide bridal and groom henna a couple of days before the wedding which was super convenient during a busy wedding week. She was very kind to talk to and very detailed with her designs. A couple of days later, Avani came to our welcome party and created beautiful designs for probably 30 wedding guests in a little over 3 hours. She even stayed later than initially planned because everyone wanted her beautiful work! We are so thankful for this team who made our wedding day special!”

“We’re so lucky to live around the corner from Nature Forward, it is an awesome place to explore. Our neighborhood doesn’t have sidewalks so it’s especially nice to be able to take our kids here and let them walk. The paved paths were done within the past year and are super smooth for the stroller. It’s always clean here and its great that there are two bathrooms available too.”

“GREAT place to see a show but BEWARE of the prices at the bar. We have been there twice now and were told that ordering a "large vs. regular" drink came with a great discount. The "discount" was literally about a dollar and the person who was paying for our drinks last week was terribly embarrassed when the total was given because it was far more than she had anticipated. They don't post all of the drink prices, so you are literally at the mercy of the bartenders to tell you honestly what they are charging. This is a shame because otherwise the place is awesome.”

“We got the two king bed room. The room was spacious and the beds were just amazing. I travel alot and these were definitely top rated beds.Breakfast is included for all guests. I loved the high quality crockery they used. Food is good, no hot items though.Location is amazing. We went to the Sunday farmers market next door and it was great.Parking is in the public garage right across the alley/street. At check in, They give you a permit to park overnight and charge $10 to the room. Very reasonable.Downstairs some areas are insta worthy.Rooms: Nespresso coffee I’m very cute cups in the room. Fridge and microwave. Every day room service. Great mint chocolate and infused at check in, water and a special chocolate after each room service.”

“Couldn't ask for a more convenient place to eat and drink when staying in the Phoenix Park Hotel since its right in the lobby and there isn't a whole lot of options in the area. Nice service at the bar and in the restaurant. Food was pretty good too. Also went to a private pre-wedding party here that was well serviced.”

“On St. Patrick's Day, my mom wanted green beer, so we went to The Barking Dog. The gastropub was filled with sports fanatics. Since alcoholic drinks weren't permitted in the patio area, we were seated at a booth near the bathroom. My brother had an O'Doul's, my fiancé had a Crooked Crab Haze for Days Pale Ale, my parent shared a New Trails Crisp Lager (dyed green), and I had a Green Tea Cocktail. We shared an order of Pub Pretzels, which was served warm and with a spicy cheese dipping sauce.”

“I hosted a birthday dinner here, and it’s perfect for large groups. We had 14 people and we got our own little room! The server was very accommodating and split the bill for us no problem. I even forgot my birthday candles for the cake I brought, and they gave me candles to use. Such great customer service and the food was delicious too! Lastly, I’m vegetarian and was able to find something in the menu easily. Highly recommend!”

“Not too welcoming in 2024, I applied there when they first came to the neighborhood . lot of white people, then I figured out why they didn't hire me you but you never know the Pearl and the oyster. I hope they change their practices. Expeditor could manage your time a little better especially when you got gumbo and salad, and then the barbecue comes out cold. It lessens the experience of having to take it home and warm it up. But those biscuits stop me in my tracks.”

“Love, love, love the adult open gym here in the evenings. It's hard to find places to practice as an adult, but this gym has a great community, nice equipment in the team gym, and helpful staff with drills and corrections for any skill you might be working on.”

Wife was told no reservations allowed two weeks earlier, but inside seating by reservation only???Paid the cover and got indoor seating immediately. Cant hear outside music inside.Limited menu. I thought our server didn’t like brown town, but according to my wife, he didn’t like me.Whatever it was beer was cold, fish and chips were mediocre and under seasoned. Cole slaw. a bit heavy on the mayonnaise. Fries were decent.Overall experience on this crowded day was lower then expected. Indoor seating on a hot day was nice. Valet parking helps too.Oh yeah my first beer was served in a plastic cup in a dining room with white table cloths. I thought it strange. Didn’t take a pic of it.I doubt I’ll go back.”
