I had to ship a package that I myself was confused about how to best pack. The guy at the counter was super helpful and ended up saving me money even when he had the opportunity to charge me more. The post office itself is also very cute aesthetically.

best post office in the area! this is not the closest post office to my home but it is the only one I will go to. staff are kind and efficient. great parking options. employees are always so nice to my kids when they are with me. thank you for the consistently exceptional customer service experiences.

I love the post office at Glen Echo. They are helpful friendly and kind. I go out of my way to send my mail off at the post office there. Great job postal workers!

This post office has some amazing customer service. I read the reviews and thought, oh that sounds nice, but after calling them, believe me it's all true. The kind lady who was currently the only person there and could not help we right away went out of her way to write down my information such that she could help me at a later time in the day when she was able. That's amazing, because it's kinda unheard-of.

I'm kinda sad that my PO Box services have ended here. It's just a little too far out of the way now & needed one closer. The ladies that run this place have been very kind to me and always accommodating with things that don't always have an immediate textbook answer. It is an older building, so parking/traffic is intense at times. The staff here has always been nice, especially compared to the one post office I just had to unfortunately sign up with. They will be missed

This took place 21FEB2020. I do not like to make these sort of posts unless they're needed. I had to mail something to Mexico without a return address. I explained to the young lady that there isn't one and why, which is when the rudeness erupted. The process was annoyingly painful, with no regard to the customer. The person I assume is the superior came out of her office and said to someone in line, "What you want?" then made a grunt so they can go to her. Not sure what's happening here, but they need to reassess their customer service posture. It was extremely unprofessional. One star only because my package will get mailed.

This is a very special post office. It is a real pleasure to deal with the special women who work here. I go out of my way to use this post office. Recently while standing in line , three people started raving about the wonderful service that is provided at this location.

This is an adorably quaint post office housed in a converted house in historic Glen Echo. It has almost a Norman Rockwell-esque feel to it (am I dating Ng myself) in that it literally morphs in your view to a watercolor postcard done in light wash, it's that perfect. It's tiny. If you go, more likely than not there will be a line. BUT the clerks are almost always wonderfully pleasant, patient and helpful, and most patrons are likewise. I love this post office and almost always go here to buy stamps or send packages just because it is so much more chill.
