Christina was super helpful and attended to my vehicle's needs quickly. I now have a safe car again. My newly purchased used car was stalling, they comp'd the inspection and work even though i was out of warranty. I felt taken care of. Getting scheduled was a bit slow as they are short staffed, but that appears to be true across the industry.

I had another great experience at Burton Car Dealership with KEVIN P.. Kevin is an outstanding professional with excellent skills in helping me explain the auto problem. He listens intently and asks questions that I understand. This visit was very concerning to me (rattle in ?steering). I chose to wait for the car. Kevin came back to me and explained the issue. He obviously knew what to do and had his staff fix my problem. Kevin is able to clearly explain the car’s issues and as a 70+ widow I am able to get my car fixed. I am a very fortunate customer. Thank you to Kevin, his staff and the Service Director along with CEO Burton.
Note: Senior Widows should buy their cars at I.g. Burton and know that they have the right staff to take care of the car!!!!!!!

I am disappointed but invigorated to write this review if only for the benefit of fellow service members and veterans who may not be from the area to know better. Feel free to read the detailed review below, but the short and sweet of it is to avoid servicing your vehicle at this dealership and, if you can make the journey, go to Anderson GMC in Cockeysville. A review for Anderson GMC is on my Google review profile. I.G. Burton GMC must have a 4.5-star rating only due to their sales & parts dept. and not their service dept.
I have had the misfortune of dealing with this dealership for the last five years. After different experiences over the years, almost all varying levels of frustration and coldness, I will no longer be bringing my GMC vehicle here after my most recent experience. My service advisor was Mr. Kevin P. and he provided what I define as confusing service at best. At worst? Service that left me extremely frustrated, exhausted, and disappointed. The attitude I received upon arrival was cold and dismissive; as if I was not a customer and my business was not wanted. When I was addressed, it was with an expressionless, apathetic nod. Completely unprofessional, unwelcoming, and unfriendly. Throughout my recent experience, my service advisor was either friendly in a way that seemed fake, or unpleasant and disregardful. Once my vehicle was inspected, the items listed on my repair estimate were insufficiently detailed and left me with questions. In fact, after everything, I had to go back in person to get clarification on what was meant by "Steering/Suspension" only to find out that what should have been written there is "Diagnostic" - the cost of inspecting my vehicle. Anyway, I asked to look at my vehicle while it was on the lift and speak with the technician working on it; however, they were at lunch. My service advisor almost told me that I would have to come back later when the technician returned but, thankfully, another technician stepped in who had been working alongside the technician servicing my vehicle. That technician explained visually what needed to be serviced on my vehicle; however, he also mentioned that the technician servicing my vehicle noticed that my outer tie rod on the passenger side needed to be replaced soon as it was leaking; this was not on the repair estimate. This came off as dishonest seeing that it was not noted in my repair estimate even though the technician servicing my vehicle had observed that it needed replacement and the part was costly and still under warranty. After discussing this with my service advisor, I was told that the entire outer tie rod would be replaced. I then asked if new parts (boots) that coincide with the outer tie rods could be installed at no additional labor charge since they would be working on that exact area anyway. I was told that was fine by the service advisor, but only if I got them as soon as possible. So, I called around and found a Chevrolet dealership about 45 minutes away that had the parts I needed. After purchasing the parts and returning, I was given a confused, "in disbelief" look and was asked to show what I had purchased by opening the boxes for the parts. Of note, I was almost not able to return the parts since the boxes were opened. What I had purchased was correct, but my service advisor was now unsure of whether they would be putting on the parts I purchased at no cost for labor. He then brought me out to speak with the Shop Foreman who explained exactly what was wrong with my vehicle. The Foreman agreed that my outer tie rod on the passenger side needed to be replaced and should fall under the warranty, but they would not be able to install the parts I purchased. After everything was resolved and repaired after a discussion between the service manager, my service advisor, and the Foreman, I came to collect my vehicle after four days of being in the shop when it really should have taken two days at most. I was again met with aversion and better, but still flawed writing on my invoic

This is a dealership with great employees. Every single person there go out of their way to help their customers. Also a big shout out to Joe Beach and Donna in service. A dealership with great used vehicles and good prices along with great employees is extremely rare.

Micheal Snyder was outstanding throughout the entire process. I truly appreciate how patient he was with us as a new car wasn't something we were expecting to purchase but had to after my car was recently totaled. He stayed calm and helped bring us back down when I was internally freaking out. I truly appreciate the fact that he was down to earth and not your typical car salesman that we saw at other dealerships. He even checked in a few days after to make sure we were satisfied with our new GMC Acadia!
Bob and Tom were great as well! We truly appreciate everyone's kindness to our family throughout the entire process and treating us like real people not just another customer!
We will definitely recommend Burton to all of our family and friends!

I made an appointment to get my A/C fixed, and even though the shop was packed Sandy worked me in, and Wilkins was able to get the repair done within a day! Sandy even offered transportation while it was being worked.
