Easily the best auto shop I've ever been to! Katie was very thorough, communicative, and friendly. She troubleshot and fixed a few different issues on a used Subaru that I had recently purchased, from a malfunctioning infotainment system to an a/c condenser that needed replacing, all while coordinating with my warranty company to get the covered repairs documented and approved. Wells is definitely my go-to shop now.

I called on 7/11 and talked with Katie. I told her what I needed done and she checked with the dealer and let me know the cost of just replacing my missing part or replacing the part and what it was connected to. I told her I wanted the entire assembly replaced because it was the original and the car is 19 years old. She didn't give me the usual "we'll have to inspect it first for X amount!" My appointment was 7/16. When you walk in, it was a warm and inviting atmosphere. I was told it would take 3 hours and I waited. While replacing my complaint, another original part was discovered broken (I heard the rattling driving to the shop) and I was informed the cost to replace that. I'm so very happy with the way I (and my car) was treated here. There wasn't the usual upsell, like most places. I DEFINITELY will return and refer friends and family!

Aside from quoting me a price of $217.56 for a $30 Ford Ranger hood latch plus $97.67 installation (a ten minute job), everything else was fine. A little pricey, don't you think?

I thought because my warranty company suggested this shop that I'd be in good hands. My transmission made the dashboard start singing Christmas Carrols 1st thing in the morning, so I dropped it off there. Turns out I only had a leak and a faulty sensor. They replaced the transmission fluid and made sure the sensor was fine before I picked it up again. 2 weeks later, I had another mechanic take a look. My transmission started riding rough again and I smelled transmission fluid every time I hopped in my car. My new mechanic found TRANSMISSION FLUID ALL OVER MY ENGINE. The plug was never replaced when Wells Auto serviced my car. I had to pay another $400 on top of the negligence that I PAID FOR.

I got a call from my daughter saying the backend of her car was "skidding all over the place..." Being out of town and unable to quickly go assess things for myself, I took a deep breath, and started searching for shops. I figured what was going on was suspension related and Wells came up near the top of my search. I found their website terrific and the interactions I had on the phone trying to describe this condition was top flight. It ended up being a combination of struts, springs, and shocks causing the chassis to move around giving the perception my daughter described. Scheduling the assessment and subsequent repairs was painless. Being someone who does most of my own car repairs, including this type of stuff, I'm pretty tuned in to what folks tell me is needed and how they handle my questions is key determining factor in making a decision. I can say from my own experience that Wells met and surpassed my expectations. I have no reservations recommending them to others.

Sold our house the other day. Were going to celebrate somewhere but the car wouldn't start, as if the battery had been drained. We carry an emergency battery pack for this eventuality, so we were able to start the vehicle and visit a nearby well-rated repair shop, Wells Automotive. Juanita took care of us, getting a new battery installation, a long-overdue oil change, and a tire rotation in relatively short order. We went home, picked up a couple great pizzas from the newly opened Angeli's around the corner from our apartment, and celebrated with champagne that evening. Grateful to Wells Automotive for saving the day for us!
